With various useful features, the Kenwood TTP200 2-slot toaster ensures breakfast is always just right!

Adjustable browning gives you control over your toast, and the peek and view function allows you to easily monitor its progress. The cancel button lets you pop toast up whenever you like.

The Kenwood TTP200 has a rounded design and four little feet, for an attractive and unique look on your worktop. Illuminated controls provide that finishing touch.

A defrost option allows you to toast bread straight from the freezer, without having to wait for it to thaw - great for a busy morning! And if you forget your toast for a minute while making some tea, the reheat function comes in very useful.

Toast smaller items such as crumpets, and easily remove them with the hi-rise facility. A crumb tray makes cleaning the TTP200 simple, while cord storage keeps your worktop tidy.

Burnt toast Terrible toaster. We moved here from the States and will only be here for a couple of years, so we didn't want to invest a lot in appliances. We liked the looks of this one, the size and the price. However all we have done is waste our money. Even on the lowest setting this burns your toast. You have to keep a vigilant watch on it because it burns quickly. With a 3 year old and a 1 year old running around, that is next to impossible to do. So most mornings I have anywhere from1-3 pieces of toast that go directly in to my food waste bin. Very displeased. 08 February 2013

Burnt toast This toaster burns the toast even at the lowest setting. I have to remember to stay by the toaster and press the 'Cancel' button before it finishes toasting. I don't always remember, so often end up with burnt toast. There is clearly a consistent fault with this toaster which needs investigating. 15 October 2012

Big disappointment Rather like HowardB's, our toaster burns the bread even on the second lowest setting. it's going back to John Lewis. That some people give it five stars would appear to indicate poor quality control in the factory. 13 August 2012

Great, simple toaster with high spec This is a great toaster and a joy to have in my kitchen. It looks great on my worktop, and can be positioned long ways or sideways due to the button position. The re-heat function is very useful as I often forget the toast is done. Also allows you to lift and look at your toast when toasting, great feature to stop the bread burning. Would highly recommend this toaster. 09 February 2012

Top toast We are very pleased with this toaster. While the toasting process takes a little longer than our previous one, the quality of toast is far superior. We bought a Kenwood JKP210 kettle at the same time which almost matches the toaster (grey trim slightly different shades). Kenwood needs to do a bit of work on getting this a fully matching toaster/kettle set. 12 January 2012

Bunt toast I chose this toaster because it offered all the features I needed at a reasonable price, and it looks good in my kitchen, but when I used it I found that it took a long time to toast the bread, and even at the lowest heat setting it was burning the bread. I returned it and got a replacement, but this was even worse. I've now had two more replacements, and they are all burning the bread at the lowest setting. John Lewis Customer Services have offered to upgrade to a different toaster. Four stars to John Lewis Customer Services, but only one star for Kenwood's quality control here. 09 November 2011
