Q & As

KitchenAid 2.1L Food Processor 4.4 5 16 16
A great machine !! I went to John Lewis to buy a Magimix but saw this KitchenAid and decided to give it a go and Im so pleased I did ! It looked so much smaller in store than the Magimix but it was comparable in its bowl size and when I got it home it fitted perfectly in my kitchen , the other would have been a monster on the worktop !!! It is quiet and SO powerful Im absolutely delighted with it , 5 ***** 16 September 2014
one look and it sells itself excellent purchase used every day, stylish easy to use and not lots of blades to get you confused fully recommended 10 September 2014
Beautiful but... I bought this because I was expecting quality (and the fact the red is gorgeous) however it is not worth the price tag. Food etc get lodged in the handle and can't really be cleaned especially if it is greasy as it clings to the surface. V unhygienic! Also the inner attachment has scraped a great big ridge and chipped plastic on the small bowl. If you want a pretty kitchen ornament this is for you but if you want a work horse processor buy a different brand. So disappointed! 05 September 2014
Sturdy food processor Bought as a replacement for a John Lewis own brand machine which had given sterling service for many years. I like the fact that it doesn't have too many accessories which never get used. It is sturdy, not too noisy, compact and easy to store. This brand seems to have a good reputation so am hoping it will last as long as its predecessor 26 August 2014
Excellent product I bought this after spending ages looking for a food processor and have not been disappointed. It is light to handle but with robust construction and is simple to put together. It is also compact enough to sit out on the worktop in my small kitchen without taking up too much space. So far I have used it to mix, blend, chop and slice and it has performed very well for all of these across a range of ingredients from hard cheeses to soft fruit and veg. I particularly like the adjustable slicing disc and the way in which the multiple piece feeder tube provides three possible tube widths. Storage for the accessories would have been nice but overall an excellent piece of equipment at a very reasonable price. 25 July 2014
Looks more expensive than it is! Really beautiful product, I think it looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. The speed settings have little blue lights above them which is a nice touch. Lots of accessories (but not too many if that makes sense!). Only downside is it doesn't come with anything to store said accessories in. Im not not keen on the noise, I know all blenders are noisy to some respect but I find the noise this one makes very unpleasant. I thought it was breaking the first time I used it! Overall though would definitely recommend. 02 July 2014
Great product A great product... used it for the first time and I could not believe how quiet and quick it processed. I'd recommend it. 17 June 2014
Lasted 2 weeks I didn't get a Magimix because I thought they were expensive - this KitchenAid seemed like a great buy and on the basis of various good reviews I went ahead and bought it. However after only using it twice the top part did not close properly and when twisting on to lock it it kept going past the locking position. To make matters worse the mini blade and bowl was a disaster - the blade actually ground a deep cut in the bowl - and this is after we ensured everything was fixed in correctly. Am returning it for a refund and will gladly spend the extra money now on a different brand, very very disappointed. 01 May 2014
