The straps gently wrap around the foot and become thinner at the buckle, whilst the slight platform base gives you a little extra boost in height whilst maintaining comfort.

Beautiful sandals Surprisingly comfortable considering the height (hidden platform helps) and like all LK Bennett shoes, beautifully made. John Lewis is the only place I could find them still for sale in a light colour, and as usual they arrived at my local store very quickly. Excellent service. Be aware that the colour of the shoe is slightly different to that on the website; the picture shows the nude colour but the shoes are actually taupe, slightly darker. It wasn't an issue for me but could be if you were specifically after a pale nude-coloured shoe. 15 April 2013
