Rated 5 out of 5 by RustyH A great buggy board - fast delivery too!
This is the only buggy board that will fit our Maxi-Cosi Elea pushchair and we were pleased to find it at John Lewis. It was delivered within 2 days and was easy to fit. Great quality and worth every penny. Another bonus is that it lifts up and clips out of the way when it's not in use.

We bought this for our 2 and a half year old and he loves it. It's ideal for when he's getting a bit tired or if you need to get somewhere reasonably quickly. Very easy to fit on our Maclaren Techno XP and clip on or off as and when you need it. Probably worth mentioning that it does change the dynamics of the buggy when in use so steering is more hard work but guess this is only to be expected. Overall we are really happy with our purchase and wish we'd bought it sooner.

Hesitated about whether to invest in one of these boards. My eldest just turned 3 and my second is 5 months. The 3 year old is not really inetersted in, and now a bit too grown up and heavy for the second seat in our excellent Baby Jogger City Select. But I realised that sometimes I was avoiding going out as you could never predict how far he would walk, and it's black and white with him. He'll walk happily for even 60 minutes, but then with no warning - that's it. Too tired. won't walk, will only be carried. Not practical when he's nearly 15 kg and you have the pram to push as well. And his melt down could be after 5 minutes or 60... so going out alone with both of them could be a joy or a total disaster, no way to predict the outcome.
So I decided that yes, I would go for a buggy board and what a joy! Why on earth did I hesitate? My son loves riding on it and I am no longer worried about having to cope alone with total melt downs.
The board is easy to clip up out of the way when you're not using it. I'm 5 foot 4 (164cm) tall and it is not particularly in the way when it's down and I'm walking. I guess if you're quite tall it might mean you stooping a bit to deal with your longer stride. The board is also super easy to take on and off when you want to fold the frame to go in the car, or if you have an umbrella fold push chair.
One note of caution... I collected it from a local shop using the Hermes delivery option. I walked there with the 5 month old in the baby sling and a sickly 3 year old in the push chair, figuring that the box would fit in the shopping basket under the push chair. Well, the box was HUGE! I had to walk home, in the rain, balancing the box on the hood of the push chair. The Lascal box was about the size I expected, 57 x 25 x 10cm, but John Lewis's put it in a box measuring 31 x 33 x 56cm! So if you're collecting without the car, I recommend unpacking the Lascal box from the JL box, before you struggle home with it ;-)

Easy to fit and use. Perfect for my 2 1/2 year old who likes to walk but gets tired easily, and she can see her baby brother in the pushchair. Would recommend.

We have the graco evo and it fits fine! Was a little difficult to put on at first but checked online and made it simple. My little boy is 2 and he calls it car when he wants to go on it. Doesn't get in way when folded up, when little boy decides to walk. Even when down and he is on it doesn't get in my way. It does make pushing pushchair a bit more heavier but get used to it! The board is easy to take off when finished using and putting pushchair away. It has saved us getting a double buggy for now :)

I really wish I hadn't wasted my money buying a double buggy. My two year old son LOVES 'pushing' his baby sister around on this and can manage a good 20 mins or so wandering around on the board. He's only just two but has good balance, a slightly less steady two year old might struggle, an older child would manage far longer than 20 minutes. I have an iCandy Strawberry and find it perfect in the pram configuration, and am sure will work even better when my daughter is big enough for the seat. I recommend this wholeheartedly

I have a Babyjogger City Select and have had several problems with their buggy board so eventually bought this. It works and that speaks volumes about the product. It can handle a little awkwardly sometimes making your pram feel heavy and harder to steer but the practical benefits far outweigh these challenges. Being able to get from A to B in half the time because your toddler is on the buggy board is magic. I found it quite complicated to put together so asked for help in the store which was great. Actually it is very easy to take on and off the pram, even if Im still not sure what all the dials do :) The only real downside is that it doesn't tuck away neatly under the pram when not in use. I have to tie the string to the handle of the pram in order to pull it up and you can't go up and down stairs with it on. Lots of space for my toddler to stand and I just need to have the handle of the pram extended as far as it can go to make it comfortable for her to stand up straight (she's tall). I would say if you are thinking about it go for it - anything that makes life easier is a winner in my book!

My granddaughter loves riding her buggy board when out and about with her baby sister. Very useful to be able to use it with the carry cot option of the pram.
