The hinge on the Yoga 2 Pro rotates through 360 degrees, so you can use it in laptop, tent stand and tablet modes whenever suits you best.

All Purpose Travel Companion
The Yoga 2 Pro is your ideal travel companion at only 16.9mm thick and lighter than ever, weighing just 1.39kg, it is perfect to pop into your bag and take with you. The intelligent 10-point multi-touch screen has been optimized for the Windows 8.1 interface with easy scroll, zoom and rotate functions, making it easy to use, whether in tablet, laptop, stand or tent mode. The backlit AccuType keyboard with individual rounded keys provides accurate typing, even in the dark, while a multi touch trackpad supports gestures for easy navigation. If you'd rather takes a 'hands off' approach, you can use either Lenovo Voice Control to audibly tell your Yoga what to do, or Lenovo Motion Control to flip through photos & pages or rewind/fast forward music & videos with simple gestures- you don't even have to touch the Yoga.

Q & As

Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro Convertible Ultrabook, Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 13.3" QHD+ Touch Screen 3.7 5 3 3
Love it Love the orange. Love the crazily high screen-res (although I've actually lowered it to increase battery-use time and many programs have tiny text) Love the backlit keyboard Love it's form-factor. Quite like the veriface (face recognition log-in), but still waiting for it to recognise me all the time! Yes it's quite expensive, but you get a lot. I notice another reviewer didn't like the reliability, and if I'm honest this is a replacement ... but since John Lewis are wonderful they just just exchanged it. 29 September 2014
Great product but with some real reservations Have had it for about 6 months now. I noticed that the other review on this site was by someone who has had awful reliability problems. I havent had a minute of trouble with mine and use it 7 days per week. I love the PC but you will find that the screen resolution (very high) is a bit of a pain depending how you use it. I have a docking device and connect it to a separate keyboard and screen. When disconnecting it say for use in the evening as a laptop you have to fiddle around with the size of text on each app e.g. MS Outlook, Powerpoint, Internet browser etc and then when you connect back to the docking station reset it all again. This is a real pain. There are lots of comments on the web about this - apparently Microsoft will bring out a version at some stage that auto adjusts to the screen resolution. I love everything else about this machine so suggest if you're thinking of buying you consider what use you will make of it ie if you just use as a laptop / tablet it should be ok as wont need to change resolutions but as a plugin to separate screen / keyboard you need to be ready for a bit of hassle when switching modes. Apart from that its great and really quiet. I have an ipad as well and normally I will default to that when using a tablet as its better / less bulky. However when Im away on business I only take the Lenovo as the tablet aspect is adequate rather than taking two items. 16 September 2014
I am now on my 3rd machine and that is also in for repair! I take good care of things that I own yet I have just sent my 3rd one of the Yoga 2 Pros to be repaired. The first one had a fault with the touchpad from the beginning, the screen on the second one started to bleed and the current one is needing a repair to a faulty keyboard. Modern computers are very complex and so it is inevitable they are going to go wrong from time to time. The problems here are that Lenovo Technical Support is very poor. Unlike Dell they will not come to your house to effect a hardware repair and you have to send it to them which is very inconvenient. I will not be buying another Lenovo machine based mostly on their technical support and customer service and partly on the poor build quality as evidenced by the issues I have had with three machines. 30 August 2014
