Product information

Designed by award winning furniture designer Leonard Pfeifer, this range of cabinets combines clean lines with contemporary colour accents in fennel, archer, steel and putty. Ideal for living rooms or bedrooms they provide an elegant solution to your storage needs.

Made from American oak veneered panels on chipboard, with solid oak legs. The painted parts are made using white melamine with up to 4 accent paint colours in fennel, archer, steel and putty colours.

The cabinet contains a cubby, 2 half width drawers with concealed runners and 2 half width cupboards. All have oak knobs.

Pfeipher Sideboard This piece of furniture came without the legs attached for no good reason, seemingly, other than enabling costs to be cut somewhere along the line between maker and retailer. It falls into the disappointing category as a result but somehow the charm and quality of the item has managed to dull the sharp pain of disappointment. As a finished item on delivery this would deserve a five star assessment. 15 June 2012

great little sideboard A very pleasing peice of furniture to look at and really well made.The drawers slide easily and the doors close without pushing. The only problem I had was to find someone to help fit the feet as the cabinet is quite heavy and takes two people to lift it upside down. However, I am very happy with my sideboard. 14 May 2012

Leonhard Pfeifer Cabinet The cabinet arrived half hour after its delivery slot. On opening the back panel was damaged and so another pick up date arranged and another cabinet ordered. 2nd cabinet arrived a few weeks later this time the front corner smashed. Again pick up arranged and another cabinet ordered with requests for cabinet to be checked at the warehouse. 3rd cabinet arrived in good order and i'm very happy with it. Shame it took nearly 2 months and a lot of hassle to obtain it. 13 May 2012

Looks good Really like the cabinet, great colours and solid construction. Only problem was one of the handles and one of the legs. The drilled hole in the handle was off centre, screwing this into place chipped the paint finish on one of the cupboard doors and also had difficulty in aligning the bolt in one of the legs. You would expect perfection at this price but still good. 20 April 2012

Quality of fittings not great Although we were pleased with the actual unit, the handles that you have to fit yourself were of a very poor quality considering the price of the unit. 12 April 2012

A splash of colour The Abbeywood cabinet will bring a splash of colour to any room. The cabinet is finished with a high gloss sheen in 4 colours that can be easily kept clean with just a damp cloth. The cabinet has concealed runners, fixed shelves and is adorned with solid Oak handles. It is delivered with the legs off for ease of delivery, which are very easy to attach. 22 November 2011
