Q & As

Very uncomfortable mattress I bought two mattresses for my toddler twins who were moving into their new home and being separated for the first time. After bitterly complaining about the beds and just how uncomfortable they were I merely put this down to sleeping apart and thought this would pass. A year later the complaints still keep coming. The description of "Medium" is not correct in my opinion. They are extremely hard. The top padding is cheap and nasty. I echo the other reviewers comments. Avoid. Do not buy. 31 July 2013
Low quality mattress We bought this mattress for my toddler without trying it in the shop first which was a mistake. It's very flimsy and although she is happy on it and the initial product quality hasn't diminished after a year of use, it's super uncomfortable for lying on with her for story reading or the occasional cosleeping session. I can see that the mattress is not designed for adults but would expect to be reasonably comfortable on it for an hour or so and it just isn't. 27 June 2013
Poor value for money Very disappointing. After a couple of weeks the plump padding has flattened. Springs give little spring-back. Not a patch on the cheaper childrens mattress bought 18months ago, also from JL. Very cheaply made in my opinion, and not worth the price. Wish I had the time to go around shops trying out mattresses. Will have to replace sooner rather than later. Little one not impressed either. Lesson learnt. 19 February 2013
