Q & As

Lovely curtains but the material has an unpleasant odour. I bought these for my 3,5 year old son's new bedroom. Material is substantial and good quality and they look very nice and fresh on his windows (yes, he has two windows in his room). I agree with the previous person that it's nice to have something contemporary for children rather than the usual animal and character prints. The only negative point is that the both sets of curtains smell rather bad. You don't notice this at first but now they are both up, there's a clear chemical like smell. I've been airing the room and spraying Fabreeze which has improved the situation. Highly ideal it's not though. 13 October 2014
Lovely curtains I have spent months looking for nice blackout curtains for my Toddler's new bedroom. I was so pleased to finally find these. Having a modern pattern like this instead of characters or animals makes it easy to decorate the room in a tasteful way that isn't too child-like. And he shouldn't outgrow them too quickly, unlike themes or animal prints. We bought removable turquoise dinosaur wall stickers instead - much cheaper to update! Unfortunately they don't completely black out the bay window, but that is because our window sill sticks out, nothing to do with the curtains. I rated them four out of five only because ours are cut slightly wonky for about five inches at one end. I should exchange them really, but haven't got the energy at 40 weeks pregnant! I recommend checking the curtains thoroughly before hanging! 22 April 2014
