Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for iPad
High Quality, Small Magnets
I bought one of these after the space key on the keyboard of another manufacturer's fold out and zip up case stopped working.
It's a delight to use and the wireless connection is quicker too. Remember you get a full Apple keyboard - numbers and up, down, left, right! although some iPad keyboard functions won't be there e.g.double click the Space Bar.
NB: it is only magnets that hold it in place when open so rough handling has to be avoided and a flat surface is advisable. It will come apart if you pick it up carelessly when open.
When it is closed it's robust enough and stays closed with more magnets, but I would recommend a zip up padded sleeve for travelling. I use a Belkin Pleated Sleeve for iPad (unfortunately not sold by JL)

This keyboard is just what the iPad needs if you need to type regularly, iPad sits nicely in the slot on the keyboard.
Thin, light and good quality keys, not much thicker than the Apple smart over. Offers suitable protection when folded over. Not cheap but brilliant!!
iOS just needs to catch up and provide decent office appplications to allow me to completely get rid of the laptop.

I love this!
I bought this keyboard at the same time as my ipad, and would not change it for the world.
The angle it holds the ipad make it like a mini-laptop. The ipod is held securely by a magnet, and is perfect for use for email/ typing, as well as holding the ipad when surfing/ using skype/Facetime. Without the keyboard, I find it tricky to get the ipad at a good angle for easy typing on the screen keyboard.
The keyboard is good quality, and the keys make a satisfying and good quality click on use - perfect if you can type well.
The battery lasts for ages - I only had to charge mine after 6 months of daily use. It was easy to connect to the ipad, and once done, doesn't need to be done again.
I found I needed a cheap case to cover both the keyboard and ipad when not in use - whilst the keyboard does attach to the ipad and act as a bit of a cover, I wanted to avoid scratching the back of either device.
All in all, brilliant and I wouldn't be without it.

Great little keyboard
I purchased this product from John Lewis about a month ago, and I'm pretty impressed with it.
The keyboard has a good sensitive feel to it, and when attached (via its magnetic catch) to the i-pad it just looks like a small notebook. The Aluminium style base matches the i-pad very well.
When the i-pad is located in the slot on top of the keyboard, it sits at an ideal angle for viewing, and for working.
My only minus point on this item, is that the direction keys do not work with some programs. This means interacting with the touch screen occasionally, which was something that I had hoped to avoid.
Overall though, very satisfied with this keyboard.
N.B. The i-pad I am using is the latest one with the retina display.

Best possible addition to an iPad
This basically turns your iPad into a very small laptop. For me this makes it incredibly useful for commuting on the train and also for work (taking notes etc.). It's received many admiring glances from colleagues and two were so impressed they went out and bought one for themselves immediately. It's more expensive than other options out there, but definitely worth the money (especially if you're a touch-typist). Highly recommended!

Delighted with this purchase. The keyboard is light, easily transported, flexible and adaptable. It is simple to use and provides an excellent and reliable service, in the office, in the home and really proves its worth while travelling by train and in the airport.

Must Have iPad Accessory
Brilliant iPad accessory, I had a Folio keyboard before and this is 100 times better. If you use your iPad for email/work then this is a must-have, the case is ultra thin (looks like another iPad) clicks on like the original iPad cover, has a 6-Month battery life using it for 2-hours a day and iPad shortcuts. If you're thinking about a keypad for your iPad, buy one you won't regret it.
