Magimix 3200 BlenderMix Food Processor
Very poor quality
Thankfully I bought this in the sale, but I do not recommend buying this full price. The stainless steel look is in fact a very poor quality shiny plastic coating which started to chip off the first time I put the bowl on. I have tried to use this twice. The first time it worked, however it traps a lot of food under the blade without chopping and even when scrapped off it obviously sinks back down so never gets chopped. The second time I came to use it I found the catch on the bowl had broken so it never locks into place properly and therefore doesn't work. I will not be using it again and will find a new processor as this is very bad quality.

I've had my magi mix about Six years. The base is heavy but everything else is not quite as durable. I had to replace the bowl I'd never put it in the dishwasher (which is not cheap). Forget about using it to whisk anything, it's useless. The buttons stick for no apparent reason and it seems to have but one speed. I thought I'd use it more for soup but its too messy likewise faffing around with the smaller bowls. Wish I'd stuck with kenwood.

Like a lot of magi mix products this machine has a solid reliable feel. Once you have worked out which bits go where it performs all the tasks it is designed to do. The recipe book is reliable too. I recommend the smoke salmon soufflé.

Chops and blends very well, easy to clean but doesn't whisk cream . The instruction book said it would whisk cream in 2 or 3 mins but after 7 or 8 mins I gave up and whisked by hand.

just love it
It looks good in my kitchen and although it will probably take me many more weeks to discover all it can do, so far I am delighted with the performance.

Good but some flaws
Read all the reviews before deciding to spend the money and buy this brand. Had other makes before and they did not last and their motors and equipment were a bit flimsy.
Good for pesto, coleslaw, garlic butter, ginger, etc. Also good for pastry, but you will have to scrape down the sides of the main bowl in between blending to get rubbing in and then full pastry stage with liquid, so have a spatchelor handy.
Only a good overall for the product as it is not good for making bread dough, (or at least not sourdough) okay for mixing wet ciabatta and foccacia doughs, but eventually the motor cuts out, so I am continuing to do these by hand.
As a food processor, superior to others I have owned, so it is a good buy, but I am a little disappointed with the dough mixing ability, especially as the product claims it can do this as one of its selling points.

High quality, easy to use product
Very easy to use and produces a good quality output. Easy to store away and takes up little space in the kitchen.

Delighted with my magimix, been looking around for a quality food processors for ages and was concerned by poor kenwood reviews so decided to go with the more pricey option - I think it's definitely worth it. It's very versatile and easy to use and clean.
Only one downside i've discovered is that the blades aren't particularly secure so if you have a liquidy sauce you need to pour out, you need to make sure the blade doesn't tumble out too. You need a third hand to hold it in place.
Fast delivery from John Lewis too - excellent service.
