A Toaster that delivers At last my prayers have been answered. I have been frustrated for years by poor toasters. This product gets full marks for excellent results. 15 January 2013

Expensive but great I bought this for 2 reasons: to stop my anyone burning the toast and to stop the children pulling the toaster under some kitchen cabinets so that they could see into the toaster. It's worked on both counts. It produces perfect toast once you have got the setting correct, looks good and provides a talking point. 31 December 2012

Beautiful toaster I enjoy buying things that I love looking at which stands to reason except I never thought this could be true of a toaster! In my opinion, this is a beautiful toaster (as beautiful as a toaster can be) it's sturdy, it's easy to clean, I haven't burnt anything (yet) and it does the job it's meant to with a few added extras that you wouldn't get on a cheaper branded product. I haven't used it to toast anything one sided but I know that i can if i needed to, I love thick crusty bread and the width and depth of the slot means that I don't have to squash the bread in so it doesn't get stuck when it pops up. There is not one slot but it is long enough for two big chunks of bread. I don't think bread tastes any different but it sure is handy to see when the bread is toasted to your taste and it saves time having to scrape burnt bits off your bread. The only reason I haven't scored it 5 stars is because it is so expensive. I know Magimix is a premium brand with a good reputation which is another reason for spending that little extra - I like to buy things that I trust will last and give value for money - but I would be embarrassed to tell people how much it cost. It's a toaster for goodness sake! 26 December 2012

Looks very special, makes great toast ! Probably costs more than a lot of people will wish to pay, but it does every thing you require. After the first week of use we had found our ideal degree of toasting, and the toast is completely different than we have eaten in the past. The one sided toasting feature is great with bagels and French sticks. Our friends are impressed with its looks ! 13 September 2012

Amazing looking toaster Really good toaster. If you can get past the price tag this toaster looks amazing in your kitchen. Toasts really well and it's great being able to see your toast to make sure it doesn't burn. It is quite large for a 2 slice toaster. 14 June 2012

Very large footprint Given that this toaster only takes two slices of bread, it takes up à lot of space on the worktop. It is stylish and the see through effect is good, but it is slow. 17 May 2012

burnt the toast for us I didn't get on well with this toaster, it seemed to burn the top edge/crust of the bread while the main part of the bread was not toasted enough. Maybe we had a faulty one. As always John Lewis were brilliant and picked it up and we choose another brand. We now have great toast from a dualit twin toaster. 20 March 2012
