Matthew Hilton for Case Cross 6-12 Seater Extending Dining Table
The Cross dining table is a fine example of advanced wood manufacturing techniques. Made from a solid oak base, with an oak veneered top, it has two extendable leaves that are stored in the frame when the table is in a closed position. The table is large, yet retains a visual balance due to its unusually thick top. The design of the base allows for 6 to 8 chairs, or 12 to 14 when extended. This table is a particularly functional design: sturdy, handsome and built for multiple uses.
The detailing and contrasting stain give this furniture range a perfect blend of contemporary elegance and boldness. Solid and functional, the range comprises a table and bench, cabinets and shelving.
Created by award-winning designer Matthew Hilton, who began his career as an industrial designer and model maker, and then opened his own design studio in 1984. Since then, he's created furniture for CASE and other renowned furniture manufacturers. In 2007 he established his own furniture brand.
