Mountain Buggy Duet, Flint

Product information

The Mountain Buggy Duet is a slimline double buggy that is only 63cm wide, so it's ideal for parents looking for a compact stroller for two children. It's also compact when folded and the lightweight aluminium frame means it's easy to manoeuvre. With perfectly balanced weight distribution, you can easily lift the buggy onto curbs when moving around the city.

The twist and slide seat harness is easy to adjust and there are two sun canopies with individual adjustable visors. The seat units are each 29.5cm wide, assuring comfort for children up to around 4 years of age.

Also features an adjustable handlebar for a more comfortable push, detachable grab bar, safety wrist strap, foot operated brake and bottle holder. The hardwearing polyester fabric is water repellent and durable.

Compatible with the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix and Pebble infant carriers and Mountain Buggy Duet carrycot.

Q & As

Mountain Buggy Duet, Flint 4.3 5 6 6
Mountain Buggy Duet - brilliant After a lot of back and forth between this and the In and Out - we decided to go for the Mountain Buggy for our newborn twins. While the In and Out was lighter we decided the narrower width was more important to us over the weight (it's the narrowest side by side we could find) and it's very sturdy. We're really happy with our choice and also purchased the bassinets which have been a godsend as we can easily unclip them from the frame without disturbing the girls while they are sleeping. We have a 2.5 year old son and we also purchased the lascal skateboard which he happily rides on the back. Would definitely recommend this buggy. 13 August 2014
Poor quality This buggy is of a really poor quality and even though we liked it at first, we quickly fell out of love with it. If you don't have another spare buggy to use when this one breaks down (which is often) and while you wait for replacement parts to arrive, don't buy it. We have now had to replace three complete tires (it wasn't punctures, the complete tires fell apart because of poor quality as confirmed by our local bike shop!) and the front wheel has just broken today . The spare parts from the manufacturer are not cheap and you get to pay a delivery charge. We've only had this buggy for 6 months and it's been an awful experience. And we only use it in a city environment, so no rough terrain for the wheels to get damaged. Plus the rubber handle bar is also coming off (not covered by guarantee) and the break of the pram only works if you do it by hand, not by foot. Can't wait when our twins outgrow this pram! 02 December 2013
Love it We had a single buggy but got one of these when we saw our friend, with only 1 baby but with all the extra room this one offers. And still fits thru the doors. I think there basket is the best as the other brands I looked at had fiddly ways to get into the storage areas. You often want to just chuck your wipes in and with the "tray" type storage you can. JL's price a bit punchy, I found a couple online stores on google who were a fair bit lower (iRentStuff & Bamboozo direct). But I guess you dont get the JL guarantee or customer service should something go wrong. I'm not sure why Mountain Buggy didnt just do 3 wheels. Zero complaints so far. 25 July 2013
Fantastic double buggy I did extensive research into double buggies before purchasing. I love my mountain buggy. It is so easy to push and never gets stuck in doorways like other double buggies. I wanted a side by side for my two- there is a year between them. The little man loved the carrycot when he was newborn and now they both like sitting next to each other. However it only justs fit into the boot of my VW Golf and it is heavy to lift. 09 December 2012
Compact and easy to push When we were first researching buggies for twins this one kept coming to the top of the pile as it is the narrowest on the market. It fits comfortably through the front door (although is too wide when used with two car seats instead of the fabric seats) and is really easy to push. I hope to do a lot of walking with the babies and the tyres seem good and sturdy with great suspension. The buggy pushes and corners really easily and there is a good size basket in the underneath. Even though it is one of the smaller buggies on the market, it still does not fold very neatly and it was a shock to see how much boot space it takes up. My TOP TIP is to measure your car boot carefully as I would think it would be too big for many car boots, even when folded up - It is tight in a Volvo estate! Overall we are really pleased with our purchase and look forward to the twins arriving and being able to use it. 10 August 2012
BRILLIANT This is the most genius buggy ever invented!!! i had done lots of research and decided to buy the MB because - although very expensive - it was the only one fitting through my front door...and it REALLY fits EVERYWHERE!! I can go anywhere without fearing to get stuck and/or not to be able to get into shops. i am glad they invented it! Thank u mountain buggy!!!!!!!!! The delivery was supposed to arrive on a Friday but, when I rang to check, the operator told me that the item was sent later than it should have been and therefore I had to wait until Monday. I was very disappointed :(( However, when I asked if anything could be done to receive it earlier as promised when I purchased the buggy, the operator kindly arranged for a next day delivery so I got it on time! And they also kept the promise of price matching!! Well done John Lewis! Thank you :)))))))))) 11 June 2012
