Nikon D3200 Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm VR Lens, HD 1080p, 24MP, 3x Optical Zoom, 3" LCD Screen

Product information

The simple-to-use D3200 is ideal for capturing beautiful family photographs. Whether the moment calls for a family portrait or a sharp shot of toddlers on the run, Guide Mode shows you how to capture stunning photos in no time at all.

CMOS sensor
D-Movie lets you record full HD movie clips and capture the action in superb quality day or night. Nikon’s advanced EXPEED 3 image processing engine maximizes the performance of the 24.2 megapixel CMOS sensor for amazingly clear images with vivid colours. Incredibly lightweight for an SLR, the D3200 makes it easy to capture your family looking wonderful wherever you go.

3” screen
A 24.2 megapixel image sensor enables you to capture amazingly detailed images and produce sharp enlargements. The 3-inch LCD screen makes it easy to frame and playback your shots.

Low light performance
High ISO sensitivity and continuous high speed shooting significantly reduces the risk of blurred images when you shoot fast-moving subjects or take pictures in low light.

Scene recognition
The D3200 also uses a Scene Recognition System for the very best results. Its state of the art sensor analyses colour and brightness information in the scene you want to capture, and then optimises focus, exposure and white balance as you release the shutter.

In-camera retouch
There are also a range of retouch functions that let you enhance your photos on the LCD screen. Extensive playback functions including a calendar view that organises images according to the date and time they were shot.

Feeling creative?

One of the biggest advantages of this camera is the flexibility on offer. You can use additional lenses to take wide-angle, telephoto, or close-up shots to suit just about any situation. The shorter the focal length (measured in mm), the wider the view will be – the longer the focal length, the more telescopic the picture. With a selection of interchangeable lenses at your disposal, the creative possibilities are endless.

Why not take a look at our range of additional lenses?

Note: Please check the compatibility of the lens with your camera.

Return to an SLR I haven't had an SLR Camera for years, having been swept along with the mini digital cameras and smart phones. Saw this camera on offer and couldn't resist it, and I'm so glad I didn't. Straight of the box it takes great pictures, and is simple to use. First day out with it was at my Daughter's wedding, and took dozens of great quality pictures. One picture my wife took of the inside of a Grand Piano looked like something you would see in a glossy brochure. Buy this camera and you will not be disappointed. Now planning which additional lenses to buy! 13 August 2014
A first Digital SLR Wow, amazing product. This was our first attempt at a Digital SLR after having a number of the smaller pocket compact digital cameras. I was recommended this product as a first camera by a professional photographer along with two others to consider. After looking at all three cameras, we decided to purchase this one. it is very easy to use and can literally be used straight from the box. Transferring the photographs onto the computer was simplicity itself. I would recommend this camera to anyone thinking of stepping up to a Digital SLR. If you want to take your photographs to another level, the easy to use guide will help you through all the steps, as will the easy to use video mode. 17 June 2014
NIKON D3200 CAMERA This is my first SLR camera and I did a good bit of research as to what was available. I was impressed with what was said about this camera and I am very pleased with it. It is giving me a lot of good results. I certainly would recommend it. 12 June 2014
Review of Nikon D3200 Excellent camera. Good build quality and takes excellent pictures, easy to use on auto but with the ability to customize manually if you want to. 11 June 2014
Great & practical Great all rounder especially for a newbie like myself. The idiot's user guide is very helpful & reassuring. Also with the discount, I think there's no compitition between this & the Canon EOS 100D 03 June 2014
Nikon D3200 camera Excellent camera for the 'beginner' in photography. It's easy and comfortable to handle and captures shots you didn't even begin to realise could look so good. Use the camera in conjunction with attending a ten week photography course at your local further education college and you too will soon gain the skills and confidence to master the art of good photography. 29 May 2014
Excellent camera - easy to use For years I have used one of the Compact Digital Cameras but got increasingly fed up with the lack of, or awkwardness of, manual controls. I looked back with fond affection for my old Praktika MTL5B. I could do anything with that. My brother-in-law had a D3000 and I was so impressed that I went out and bought the D3200. It takes good quality pictures and it was a joy to have a smooth manual zoom and focus. The full manual control gives complete freedom for special pictures but the full automatic gives you a first rate snap camera. Very pleased and highly recommended. 27 May 2014
Great Product For The Price I've just bought the Nikon D3200 from my local branch and was very impressed by the camera from the minute I took it out of the box. It's light weight without being flimsy and is capable of great pictures on the 'Auto' setting or turn to 'Manual' if you are feeling creative. I spent a long time reading reviews before deciding on this model and yes, I could have spent an awful lot more on a DSLR but, for most users, the D3200 will provide everything that they need at a budget price. 25 May 2014
