Orla Kiely House for Harlequin Multi Stem Wallpaper
Colour discrepancy blue mix
I thought i would write this review since others have noted their disappointment with the colour.
I too was disappointed that the background was not white as the 'in room' picture shows and the stem colours are muted and shadowy / grainy rather than flat and bright. However - the picture of the swatch is true to actual colour and if you compare with the room you will see that the stems are different shades too.
I still like this paper but suggest a swatch first - another reviewer pointed out they have a different manufacturer now so clearly the colours have been changed - JL please urge them to take new pictures of room sets!!

Top quality wallpaper. Paste the wall type, so I was able to slide the pieces into place with no problem.
Previous reviewer mentioned about lining pattern up ; it is not necessary to be exact, its meant to be random colours and there is 2mm of the leaf showing on each piece just as a guide, its not necessary to match the leaf colours up!
Looks stunning on the wall, was easy to cut , fit and smoothed out really well. I did not find that creasing left marks ? Even when I was marking out around the window frame with scissors, it popped back into place lovely. Lost one star for price but I only did the downstairs loo and it required 2 rolls so not too bad.

Bought two rolls of this to cover one wall in family room / kitchen.
It has gone up easily and looks brilliant.
Just one complaint that the cut for each roll is a few mm into the leaf pattern. Its easy enough to match but only a few leafs match and then several are a bit out of line - this was more noticable on the match from one roll to the other but still visible on sheets from same roll. For an expensive and otherwise beautiful paper, this is disappointing.
However it looks great and I am pleased with how good the room looks.

Fantastic design but has its faults...
I love this wallpaper deisgn and we have put it on one wall inour study with duck egg paint, it looks really stylist and vibrant.
The only issus I have is when we where putting up the wallpaper if you got any creases in the paper it marks the colour in the petals, likewise if you knock the paper two the colour comes off which is a shame, I am sure no-one would notice but we know its there.
We used the wallpaper paste as recommended and after 4 or so months the paper has started to peel away from wall.
Considering the high end price I was expecting a better quality.

Purchased the Harlequin multi stem before Christmas for a feature wall in our living room . It looks fantastic!!!
During the winter months the red seemed to show the most , now it's spring it's the green. The background is an off white, but does look great against white walls.
Everyone comments on how lovely it is, and the quality of the paper is great- the decorator said it was a joy to hang - unlike some wallpapers .
I would say go for it - you won't be disappointed !!

Shiny funny room
great quality paper, easy to place. room looks very bright, fun, and somehow retro. this color combination is more springy and for our north facing room this gives it a real splash of colour. we have decided to use the paper for only one wall as covering the entire room would have been overwhelming. the challenge now is to make sure the furniture and decoration match the dominant pattern of the paper.

I am so pleased with this gorgeous wallpaper, it looks amazing in my lounge!
I'm a huge fan of Orla Kiely and already have lots of her interior products in my home. I have used an Orla Kiely wallpaper in the past but I was delighted to see that she has done a different collection with Harlequin - I was spoilt for choice!

Disappointed with colour
I bought 3 rolls having waited for months to buy from Orla Kiely or Heals. I bought prior to there being any reviews I was so excited that I'd finally managed to find it!! How disappointed I was when it arrived - the background colour is very creamy and the colours of the leaves are grainy and dull rather than vibrant. I'm sure that many people will love it but I suggest you go and see it in a store before you order it online just to be sure!
It's due to go on tomorrow but I have decided to take it back instead. What a shame.
