Bespoke tailoring with 'A Suit That Fits'
The appointment only service will last 45 minutes and will be located in our new boutique fitting area. Specially trained Style Advisors will take your measurements and discuss style specifications, so you receive your perfect suit.
Suits can be made for any occasion, from classic and professional work suits to wedding outfits. There’ll be a selection of styles and fabrics to choose from, including luxury British and Italian wool and branded cloths that have been specially selected for John Lewis.
It takes 6-8 weeks for a suit to be individually handcrafted by a team of tailors, before being delivered to John Lewis Oxford Street for a final fitting. To ensure future fittings are swift and convenient, your unique cutting pattern will be stored and used for future orders.

Every Thursday evening one of our expert Partners will show you how you can create a garment, by following one of our simple step-by-step patterns.
Complete your outfit by using our special Dye-to-Match hat service. There are 4 styles of hat to choose from: wide brim, small brim, disc and fascinator. Once you’ve selected your style, you simply need to choose a colour card or swatch (you can visit our haberdashery department for this).
Place your order and your bespoke hat will be delivered within 6 weeks. A delivery window of 2 hours can then be arranged.
Enjoy a 30-minute facial in the Elemis Spa Pod.
Not only will the Elemis Spa Pod work wonders on your face but its ‘magic chair’ also massages you from head to toe! This works by scanning your body to evaluate your tense areas and works on those a little harder than everywhere else. Bliss!
