Storytelling is one of the first things that a parent will share with their child, and it’s something many of us take for granted. However, for the parents of some of the UK’s most vulnerable children, the first years of their child’s life can be a bewildering time. Growing up, they may not have had the experience of being read to by their own parents.
That’s why we want to use the power of storytelling in our shops and in schools to raise money to help Barnardo’s support those UK children who need it most.
Our storytelling sessions will take place every Saturday and Sunday from 21 June to 31 August with the exception of 28-29 June, 5/6, 12/13 and 19/20 July, which is our Clearance period.
The actress, Emilia Fox, will be taking part in Story Time on Saturday 28 June.
Please visit our story time page for more information.
