About John Lewis Swindon Home Outlet
Situated in the MacArthur Glen Designer Outlet, our home outlet stocks an excellent range of mostly imperfect furniture and large electrical appliances at reduced prices. All the electrical appliances bought from us are guaranteed for 12 months.
Exit M4 at Junction 16 or exit M5 at Junction 11a and follow the signs for Swindon, then follow the signs for 'Outlet Centre'. The Swindon Designer Outlet offers ample parking (charges apply).
You simply place your online order by 7pm today, and we'll deliver it to your chosen shop for you to collect after 2pm tomorrow. This service is available from all John Lewis shops, and in an increasing number of selected Waitrose branches.
The service is available for most but not all of the items we sell, so please check individual product pages when you place an order. We're unable to accept orders that include items for collection from one of our shops as well as items for delivery, so in these cases, please place two separate orders – one for collection and one for delivery.
Community Matters is a charitable giving scheme that runs throughout our shops.
Every 3 months each shop selects 3 community groups to help. Customers are then directly involved in deciding how much each nominated group receives, by using a token to vote for the organisation they'd like to support.
Each shop has £3000 to donate which will be split between the charities according to the proportion of the vote they've received from customers. This means that if a charity receives 31% of the votes, it'll receive a £910 donation.
Charities will receive support in whichever way will benefit them the most, either in the form of John Lewis products, volunteering time from Partners, or as financial support.
The Community Matters boxes will be located in catering areas of each shop. Customers will be given one token per transaction, and will be able to follow how much of the vote each organisation receives over the 3 months.
Organisations eligible for Community Matters include charities, schools and relevant community groups. Partners will look at the requests that are submitted and choose 3 organisations to support for the following 3 months. Organisations that would like to be considered for Community Matters should visit their local John Lewis to pick up a nomination form.
