  • About John Lewis Trafford

Our branch in Manchester’s Trafford Centre was the first to open in an existing shopping centre. When it opened in May 2005 it completed a hat-trick of shops in the Northwest.

The 220,000 square foot John Lewis occupies the site previously known as the Festival village and took 2 years to convert. Its undoubted jewel is the magnificent glass pyramid roof that bathes the shop in natural light.

You simply place your online order by 8pm today, and we'll deliver it to your chosen shop for you to collect after 2pm tomorrow. This service is available from all John Lewis shops, and in an increasing number of selected Waitrose branches.

The service is available for most but not all of the items we sell, so please check individual product pages when you place an order. Supporting our communities

Our aims

We're proud of the close links we forge between our Partners and local schools, charities and organisations. And wherever we do business, at home or abroad, we work with communities to make a difference. That's why:

  • Our Community Matters programme in our shops continues to support local charities and community groups
  • We aim to give at least 1% of pre-tax profits to community initiatives
  • We will continue to seek out projects that make a positive lasting impact and reach as many local people as possible

If you’d like to nominate a good cause for Community Matters please complete the nomination form and take it to the Customer Services department.

The charities we’re supporting from November 2014 – January 2015 are:

- The Donkey Sanctuary, Manchester

- Manchester Dogs Home, Harpurhey

- Dementia Friendly Heatons

This is how August '14 - October '14 Community Matters'  charities benefited from being part of the scheme:

- Once Upon a Smile, received £1,200

- Barnardo's The Curve, received £900

- Action for Children, Wigan, received £900

Would you like to help us support Barnardo’s?
