Product information

Professional results in the palm of your hand. The LUMIX DMC-TZ60 boasts a 30x optical zoom, EVF and Wi-Fi with NFC in an ultra slim body. Save your memories in remarkable quality with the 18.1-megapixel high sensitivity MOS sensor. In addition to its remarkable optical zoom power of 30x, this camera features a large number of manual functions to boost your creativity, such as a LVF (Live View Finder), a Control Ring, RAW compatibility, and Focus Peaking, all in an ultra-compact body. This enables highly detailed shooting that covers everything from ordinary snapshots to travel scenes.

Wi-Fi, NFC & GPS
Pair with a touch using Near Field Communication technology and enjoy remote control, instant backup and more. Along with GPS and GLONASS support, geotagging your images is simple and accurate.

MOS sensor
The 18.1-megapixel MOS sensor photographs and records in stunning detail. Superior noise reduction means cleaner pictures at all ISO, even up to ISO6400.

High shooting rate
Capture every detail, even when photographing fast moving action on the street or on the pitch. Shoot at speeds up to 10fps at full resolution with mechanical shutter and 5fps when using continuous autofocus. Along with quick start-up, no moment is going to get away.

Electronic viewfinder
The LUMIX TZ60’s Live View Finder (EVF) lets you shoot like a pro, helping you get stable framing even when using the 30x ultra zoom. It also allows you to be much more versatile with your photography and movie-making. The 0.2 inch 100% field of view 200K-dot equivalent resolution LVF is ideal if you want to concentrate on the subject’s motion while panning, or when shooting in bright sunlight and the camera’s LCD screen difficult to see clearly.

Manual control
Take SLR control of your pictures with the Control Ring. Set zoom, aperture, shutter speed and creative filter with a twist so you can focus on framing the moment.

RAW shooting
Serious photographers shoot in RAW format. This high information file type is the digital equivalent of a negative and contains much more information than JPEG. This means you can do more in post-production and enjoy higher quality results.

Full HD video
When a picture won’t do, record in Full HD in MP4 and H.264 formats. Smooth progressive 50p recording looks smooth on your big screen TV and with full 30x zoom support, getting closer to the action is easier than ever.

Q & As

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 85 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product, good price Though I knew what I was getting, great 'in the hand' & very pleased. Some of the technology has felt a bit complex but it comes with a bit of application 23 November 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Supersonic Panasonic I bought this camera as an upgrade to a previous Lumix model. I chose this model for three main reasons. Firstly, I have been very happy with the DMC-ZX1 I have owned for a few years. Secondly, I hoped that the 30x optical zoom would help me take good shots on holiday. Thirdly, and probably most important, the electronic viewfinder meant that I could use the camera without the need to put on glasses every time I was framing a shot. The camera has produced great results, mainly in automatic modes but also using some of the slightly more advanced features. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a large zoom, point and shoot camera that also allows the user to switch to manual settings to provide a greater variety of results. 17 November 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it. I had a Lumix for years and never thought I would get another camera, then I realised that I really would quite like a better zoom. I'm a total point and click person, so I use the Intelligent Auto at all times. The zoom is amazing, I never expected anything quite so dramatic. I have taken photos of the moon's surface and when I sit on my sofa I take numerous close ups of the birds on my feeder at the bottom of the garden; 26 species to date. I had a little play with some of the extra stuff it can do, but I'm unlikely to bother with it much, panoramic and whatever; the one click video is good though. I'm far more pleased with this camera than I expected to be, and it's not often you can say that! 17 November 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really good camera! Really like using this camera - as I'm blind still learning best way to use it! 10 November 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lumix DMC-TZ60 Camera I needed a new camera as I had dropped my old Bridge Camera.I also have a Samsung but this has only a screen on the back and too often I cannot see anything on it. This camera gave me both a screen on the back and an older style eye level viewer much like my old Bridge camera. With a Leica lens giving 30 X optical zoom and the size of a compact camera I put this on my wish list. After looking at reviews on several sites , I decided to buy . I went on holiday a few days after receipt and was really pleased with the facilities it has and ease of use. More importantly the photos were really good and I am very pleased with it. A great choice. 03 November 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent compact camera This is my second Lumix having bought a previous model several years ago, and I am very impressed so far. The optical quality of the zeiss lens is superb, while the camera comes packed with features. The functions and menus are intuitive, and you can still switch to manual. Has WiFi, GPS and a host of other clever and useful features, plus is light weight and compact - easy to just pop in a pocket and go. Battery life seems pretty good too - rechargeable either in camera, or charger and spares available on-line. 14 October 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great complement to an iPhone Why have a camera when you already have an iPhone? Because with this camera the zoom is so much better, the close-ups steadier and the image quality is still higher. And it lets you look through the viewfinder on a sunny day. This is the best pocket camera we've ever had. 13 October 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by TZ60 Compared with the Sony HX50 the Panasonic Lumix TZ60 has a slower focus time, a much shorter battery use before it requires charging and noise in low light situation. However, the Sony screen is very difficult to see when using the HX50 out of doors which does restricts its use. Where as the Panasonic has both a brighter screen and a view finder. Therefore there is no difficulty using the TZ60 out of doors. My main concern with the TZ60 is the short battery use before it requires charging. 07 October 2015
