Q & As

Panasonic MC-UG302WP47 Upright Vacuum Cleaner 4.3 5 50 50
Panasonic MC-UG302WP47 I always buy this make of vacuum cleaner, very easy to use, lightweight, when the bag is full just seconds to change it & not a lot of filter cleaning like the bagless ones.Panasonic are very reliable too. 05 February 2014
Repacement of previous model Panasonic MC-E450 Upright Vacuum Cleaner This new model is to all intents and purposes identical to the old one except it has the "advantage" of a brush that automatically adjusts to the height of the floor surface. However a big "disadvantage" is the new model's inability to "disengage" the brush when using the extension hose for cleaning stairs, skirting boards or curtains etc., resulting in excessive wear and tear on both brush and carpet whist the machine is "stationary". 02 January 2014
Faithful replacement of an older model This replaced an almost identical product (except the old one was 1700 this is 1900) which I had inherited from my late Father but which wore down with constant use (and I didn't know how old it was). This new one is wonderful - does everything I need much more efficiently. Only slight criticism is that is not quite my idea of super light, but I knew that before. Great purchase and would recommend. 27 December 2013
Fab Vac! Being a Dyson user for the last 10 years their new prices were so ridiculous I decided to buy a much cheaper one. My parents have had this vacuum for the last few years and swear by it (yes, by it, not at it!). It is easy to assemble, simple to use and most importantly very light to manoeuvre and carry up and down stairs. Can't fault it for the money what a bargain! 15 November 2013
Great Purchase Much better than our previous, more expensive, vacuum cleaner. It is very basic, but simple to use and has a good powerful suction. Tools are rather clumsy to use but still very pleased with our purchase. 17 October 2013
15 years! 15 years of loyal service and my Panasonic vacuum has just started to show its age. The hose is perishing and the bottom section is wobbling. After two years in the UK, 13+ in the Middle East and now with me in Hong Kong it has picked up all sorts of dirt and been used by a number of different cleaners. Clearly, it thinks like I do, that Hong Kong is one step too far! Sadly, this model is not available in Hong Kong so I am going to have to grit my teeth and buy another brand. But I'd really rather not. 21 May 2013
too heavy Pick up good, as far as I have used it, looks good, but if this is lightweight I hate to think what a heavier machine weighs..Thinking of returning it!!! 01 May 2013
Not bad I read the other reviews on this hoover with interest because I've had the hoover for 3 years and don't agree with everything that's been said probably because my hoover is getting a bit worn now. It was quite good when I first purchased it, not bad suction and picked up ok. Over time it's become less effective. It's never been very good at picking up certain types of fluff off the carpet, particularly fluff which comes off of socks! For the price it's not a bad hoover but not a great one either. 15 April 2013
