Q & As

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 115 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not as good as its predecessor.. We had the previous version of this oven and it was brilliant for jacket potatoes, cooking them perfectly in a third of the time it would take in a conventional oven. This was the main reason I went for this again rather than just a plain microwave. This one however is utterly incapable of cooking a jacket potato on the automatic combination setting. I have followed the instructions, entering the weight of the potato etc but it is never cooked in even half the time that the oven thinks it should need - I have ended up having to tell it that a single potato weighing 200g weighs 900g, even to get it vaguely cooked and I now just use my ordinary oven. 31 July 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by too much for us We thought this would do everything we needed but we found it was a bit too complicated for us . We returned it and got the panasonic combination with turntable. 28 July 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not as good as it should be. Functionally it seems OK so far; But; The door handle is part metal and part plastic, there is a gap between the two parts which is right under your eyes every time the oven is used. Poor design, poor quality control. The door has many crevices which will accumulate food residues and be impossible to clean. Similarly the gap between the door and the bottom of the microwave cannot be easily cleaned. As other reviewers have pointed out, the left side of the oven is hideously ugly. If the left side of the oven is going to be clearly visible, you might want to choose an alternative. This oven is a disappointment, I won't be buying Panasonic again. 20 July 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Sadly, short lived Now bought the second one of this model. Very annoyed and disappointed that the first one only lasted three years and such things are not economic to get repaired these days. (Previously had similar ones from Sharp and Panasonic which each lasted ten years.) So only award three stars. The machine looks good, is powerful, does not have a turntable and works well. The drip tray is flimsy - take care, because the clips break easily. If this oven only lasts three years, will be exceptionally unhappy and never buy anything Panasonic again. 14 July 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent! I purchased this combi microwave as a replacement after my previous stopped reaching the correct temp. I'm so impressed. The flat bed is so much easier than turntable cooking - both as a microwave & convection cooker. Now I can use square baking tins & cook a lot more at the same time. It's so much easier to keep clean too. The instructions are very easy to follow & there are some great recipes in the manual. I've cooked a range of food - bread; a chicken; cup cakes as well as heating through various things & I've found the heat distribution is the same throughout lower shelf & top shelves. Overall a good buy & after checking other web sites & stores, John Lewis was the cheapest - always a bonus!! 10 July 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Microwave Oven Perfect Bough this Panasonic to replace my Miele which died on me after 15 years. Easy to use and clean. Getting used to not having a turntable inside. Very good for cooking in larger containers than I could in my old machine. 30 June 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ideal for one Very Pleased...only takes about 5 minutes to heat the conventional oven, against 20 minutes in my usual oven.....like the downward opening of the door......Very easy to use...both Micro and conventional oven..... 24 June 2015
