The slimline Panasonic NN-CT552W in white is a combination microwave especially designed for compact spaces.

It has a 1.3kw quartz grill and fan assisted convection oven, as well as a conventional microwave with 6 power levels, including chaos defrost. The oven lining is hardwearing stainless steel. Turntable diameter 34cm.

Please note: for proper operation, the oven must have sufficient air flow i.e. 5cm at one side, the other being open; 15cm clear over the top; 10cm at the rear.

VERY PLEASED I had been meaning to get a new microwave for a while, I drove myself mad comparing microwaves from different websites. I am so pleased with my purchase, the interior is easy to clean and it is spacious inside so I am able to fit large plates in it. Looks nice on the work top 27 April 2013

Should I send it back? Just bought one of these from John Lewis Cribbs Causeway Bristol to replace very similar model well-used for 10 years. As soon as I plugged it in it is making a buzzing noise and getting hot on the top just above the clock (Have allowed necessary ventilation) Is this usual? I'm not happy with it and now faced with 40 mile trip to get it replaced. Should have bpught on line. 12 February 2013

Fantastic microwave, oven & grill. My children had bought me a Kenwood Microwave which was totally useless and therefore had to return it to Currys. I then did my 'Homework' checking the reviews on here and decided on this model of Panasonic. After setting it up I checked out all the different programs and I could not have been more pleased with it. The jacket potatoes are crisp and cooked through, the grill heats up in no time at all as does the oven and is also very easy to program. I would certainly recommend this oven to anyone looking to purchase a new microwave. 09 February 2013

Brilliant Microwave-oven Am really pleased with this purchase. It arrived super quick and its working perfectly. It says slimline but I'm sure its bigger than our old microwave, and is the perfect size for cooking for two which saves on heating the actual oven which takes twice as along. The defrosting option is brilliant, as is the oven and microwave. I've yet to try the grill but I'm sure that's great too. I couldn't be happier. Thank you John Lewis! 25 January 2013

A very good purchase We have tried all the functions on this microwave and are very pleased with it. On reflection, we decided to go for the combination model in preference to just the simple microwave as we have only one oven and John Lewis made the exchange for us with no problems at all. It looks good on the counter and is much less bulky than our old Japanese microwave which it has replaced - and which lasted over 20years. The interior is actually larger - the plate has a diameter of 33.5 cms - and it is easy use and to clean. 10 January 2013

Big Things sometimes come in Small Packages I was only looking for a basic replacement microwave when I went to see what John Lewis had to offer. I found this combination oven and, to my surprise, it was no larger than many of the other basic microwaves with similar features. At the price it was easy to choose this model. It performs very well and is straightforward to use. I particularly like the touch controls which are easy to clean and obviously more hygienic. It also has a Tardis-like capacity despite there being a grill in the top of the unit. I haven't had time to explore all the gadgets and options and am looking forward to trying out the combination oven. Ease of use is the keynote of this slimline marvel. 28 December 2012
