Panasonic SD-ZB2502BXC Bread Maker, Stainless Steel

Product information

Wake up in the morning to the smell of freshly baked bread, with the Panasonic SD-ZB2502BXC bread maker.

Finished in an appealing stainless steel and with cool-touch housing, this new Panasonic model features a useful 13 hour time delay, so you can set it to bake overnight in time for your toast the next morning!

Unique to Panasonic, a yeast dispenser has been incorporated into the SD-ZB2502BXC: this useful addition drops the yeast at the optimal moment, for perfect bread every time. There is also a raisin and nut dispenser that automatically adds additional ingredients, meaning you can leave this machine to bake without having to think about returning to add ingredients.

The angled control panel is easy to use, and this appliance easily caters for particular dietary requirements, including gluten free, low salt and high fibre. Dedicated regular and rye paddles ensure that every type of loaf is kneaded to perfection, while a rapid bake option produces a basic loaf in just two hours.

As well as offering 3 sizes (medium, large and extra large) this Panasonic appliance has 9 versatile modes, including:

  • gluten free
  • whole wheat
  • rye
  • French and Italian breads
  • sandwich bread
  • pizza dough
  • and a speciality mode for various grain and flour types such as spelt flour.

The SD-ZB2502BXC bread maker’s unique non-stick bread pan and kneading blade are coated with diamond particles, to ensure you will be able to easily remove bread from this unit once cooked. This coat is also twice as tough and scratchproof as conventional coats.

This bread maker has talents beyond bread, too! A jam and compote mode makes for quick and easy preparation of spreads.

Best Bread Maker! This was one was out of stock so bought expensive Cuisinart which is not a patch on Panasonic. expensive lesson! The bread was dry the recipes were limited. 6 months later, bought Panasonic and back to being a very happy bread baker! 19 July 2014
excellent product I have been using my bread maker almost every day and all the breads have been very good. 09 July 2014
Really useful product! Easy to use. Quality construction. Good value for money. Only downnside is small hole at base of loaf after baking. 09 July 2014
Great product! Easy to use and perfect results every time. Love the ability to use timer when making with raisins etc. Have recommended it to family and friends. Would have preferred to have a viewing window as my last machine did but this is a minor point and wouldn't deter me from buying same machine again! 09 July 2014
Great Bread Maker I bought this model on the recommendation of a friend. My previous Morphy Richards machine always produced a sweet loaf which I found off putting. This Panasonic one produces a much better tasting loaf and by choosing the French bread recipe, no sugar is required at all. I am very happy with it so far, I hope it will give many years of service to help justify the high price. 08 July 2014
Panasonic bread maker SD-ZB2502 Recently bought this bread maker to replace my old one which had been great for 11 years. Chose this to coordinate with the kitchen and also for the useful option to add ingredients later without waiting for the bleep. Wow the bread is just amazing even better than the old one. Previously I had to adjust the recipe ingredients but full marks to Panasonic, this bread maker makes wonderful bread no adjustments required. So far have made granary bread and also a seeded whole meal loaf using Waitrose seeded whole meal flour. If you buy any bread maker buy this model as it is superior to the competition! 04 July 2014
Love my homemade bread This is a fantastic bread maker. Instructions are easy to follow, and the bread comes out perfect. Even my son makes bread. 27 June 2014
Not as good as the hype This is our second Panasonic bread maker, after years of good service the first one gave up the ghost. This was purchased A/ because the previous Panasonic was good & B/because this machine has good reviews. Unfortunately our experience with this machine is so far very disappointing. The first attempt to make dough was a disaster. Of the breads we have made so far only the simple Ciabata has been reasonably successful most others despite being made to Panasonics recipes, using the correct ingredients and measure with the designated settings and we have, so far some NOT SO GOOD results, some have not risen properly some are heavy at the bottom & so on. So to date this machine is not worth the money. To add insult to injury the alarm to signal the end of the cooking cycles is pitifully poor. To conclude, Panasonic have got a lot of work to do to make this a good bread maker & we have a lot of experimenting to do to make decent bread. Anyone recomend any alternatives?? 25 June 2014
