4K Ultra HD

Coupled with 3840 x 2160 pixels are features such as high brightness/high colour space panels and the powerful Quad Core Pro Engine. These are on hand to tease out every last, tiny detail which 4K Ultra-High definition has to offer.

Quad Core Pro
Powering the advanced Smart features and 4K picture quality is a Quad Core Pro engine. Cleverly separating the Smart TV processing from the picture processing, the engine enables the Smart elements to run faster and smoother while pictures look cleaner, crisper and more refined – regardless of whether they’re web streams, broadcasts, Blu-rays or 4K feeds.

Local dimming
LCD screens are great for boosting colours and vibrancy, but they can only truely improve contrast if the brightness in dark areas is controlled. Local dimming makes this possible by letting separate clusters of backlights, output different brightness levels. This means that brightness areas can be reduced for dark areas, without compromising the intensity of bright areas.

Studio master colour
By using unique Wide Colour Phosphor Technology capable of producing a wider colour range, the advanced LED backlight covers more than 90% of DCI standards. Studio Master Colour TVs give you a more subtle, naturally toned colour palette which, unlike most LCD TVs, still looks authentic in any scene.

Powered by Firefox OS, “my Home Screen” provides quick and intuitive access to the content you want. This Panasonic TV is among the first to feature Freeview Play. Combining catch-up TV, on-demand services and live television, watching what you want, when you want, is now easier than ever.
