Pearhead Baby Prints Wall Frame, Natural
Clay is really difficult to use
I finally managed to complete my babies footprint with the clay but I had to completely ignore the instructions. Water is key. I had to wet my hands and then flatten the clay not with the roller but by hand. Then I also wet my babies foot and pressed it into the clay. It took about 4 trial and errors to get there but in the end we got a semi-decent footprint. I wouldn't purchase this product again.

Waste of money and a morning
We bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law. As we are giving her her gift in a couple of days time I thought we'd best get on and get the foot print done...
An absolute disaster. The clay, as a previous poster has said, is useless. Trying to get it out of the toes of a then screaming baby is not a fun morning activity and since I put her in the high chair to try and have more hands we now seem to have the clay permanently stuck to the bottom of the tray. It got everywhere and can't be used in the frame. I don't have time to get another gift and so we are just going to get another photo to put in or try for some painted hand prints. So it's turned into a rather expensive photo frame. You're better off just getting a normal photo frame and doing some edible paint hand prints. Definitely not worth the price or the effort.

TERRIBLE do not buy this waste of money!
I was given this as a gift and was impressed with what a good idea it was. How wrong I could be! The frame is nice, but the 'clay' material is horrendous and does not work in any way. I'm generally a quite capable arty person, but this stuff is completely unusable. It stuck to everything like glue : the wooden rolling pin you are supposed to roll it out with was caked in moments, the foil you are supposed to use to peel the clay off, my fingers - absolutely everything it touched! When i finally managed to press a rough square out of between two peices of foil and two books, I then took my baby's foot and pressed it in.... guess what? the foot was also caked, the print was a mess & the material was very difficult to get off her foot too. Frankly I'm amazed that this company is still going and even more surprised that a respectable retailer like John Lewis is still stocking it! What a shame that my friend wasted her money on this poor quality item. DO NOT BUY!

Returned as not fit for use
I was really looking forward to creating this frame, however the foam which you use to make the footprint or handprint is completely useless. I followed the instructions to the letter and as mentioned in a previous review both my baby and I ended up with most of it stuck to us. After several attempts and much frustration we called it a day and I returned the frame and got a full refund.

Great but needs adjustments
Once you have finished it it looks great.
Only thing was the putty is very tacky so I would advise not following the instructions completely. Easier to press down with your hand than foil. Also I cut it with a scissors when it was semi-dry.
Good luck getting your baby to not curl his toes when you are doing the pressing. Half asleep is the best option.

A wall picture you will never tire of looking at.
We all know babies grow up so quickly and how important photographs are as treasured keepsakes of your growing baby. Why not also take an impression of their little hand or foot? This kit contains everything you need to make that impression, plus a natural coloured wall frame big enough to put a photograph of your little treasure alongside the hand or foot print. It is suitable for both boy or girl as it contains both blue and pink impression frames. The putty used in the kit is safe for your little one. Perfect as a gift for new parents.

Modelling foam was extremely difficult to handle. It would not take a good impression. Most of it stuck to my sons hand and my own. Followed instructions very carefully.
