Persol PO0714SM Steve McQueen™ Special Edition Folding Sunglasses, Black

In 1968 Steve Mcqueen appeared on set wearing Persol PO 714 SM model for the first time. It was for the film ' The Thomas Crown Affair', which both elevated these sunglasses and his celebrity name to legendary status.

Steve Mcqueen was a fan of the brand, and in 2006 one of his peices was auctioned for approximately $70,000 U.S.

After more than 40 Years, Persol celebrates the actor by re-launching his favourite model in this special edition.

The clever design with quality hinges in the bridge of the nose and at the Meflecto arrows to the temple and hinges in the middle of the arms meant that these sunglasses can fold into itself and be stored away easily. With the Steve McQueen™ signature emblazoned on the inside of the temple arm and comes with an elegant leather case.
