Phil & Teds Dot Pushchair, Chilli

Product information

This compact, yet fully featured, inline is ideal for city terrain. Phil & Ted's smallest inline still accommodates a full sized seat and will even adapt as your family grows, with the addition of a second seat (sold separately).

It’s 15% smaller than Phil & Ted’s classic Explorer, so it will fit seamlessly into the smallest car boot. At only 59cm wide, with nifty 10” wheels, it’s easy to maneuver through tight spaces such as narrow doorways, lifts or station barriers. The innovative, one hand fast fold lets you quickly fold your pushchair in one smooth action, so it’s ideal if you’re travelling by car and if you want to neatly store the chassis, the new improved frame locking clip will ensure the pushchair remains folded.

Your little passenger is also guaranteed a comfy ride as, even with a streamlined silhouette, they can enjoy a full sized seat with full lie-back recline. Not only does this make the Dot comfortable, it also means it’s suitable from birth right up to 4 years of age. The ventilated seat will keep them cool and comfortable, while providing increased postural support and the tail-free harness has no uncomfortable loose straps.

Parents are also in for a comfortable stroll with the multi position handlebars which adjust to the user height and the all plastic footwell provides support for little legs whilst being easy to clean.

Q & As

Phil & Teds Dot Pushchair, Chilli 3 5 2 2
Not happy at all I bought the Phil & Teds Dot pushchair to use as a double buggy when my second child arrived. We live in London and do not have a car so I mainly get around on public transport or walk. I chose the Dot for this reason as it was compact and would easily fit on buses and trains. My second son was born in December so I have been using the Dot for just under 3 months. My eldest (aged 2 and weighs 12.8kg - well under the maximum 20kg weight for the top seat) sits in the seat on top with the baby underneath in the carrycot. In three months I have had punctures in both back wheels on separate occasions and each time it has taken at least 10 days to 2 weeks to get replacement inner tubes leaving me unable to use the buggy and making it difficult to get out and about with 2 small children. Of the 3 months I have been using it it has been out of action for at least 3 weeks!! I haven't been "off road" or used the buggy extensively, only for local trips so I was shocked that the wheels punctured so easily. I use John Lewis regularly and have only ever been impressed by the quality of their products. I do not feel that this product lives up to the quality of other John Lewis items and it is certainly not value for money. I would not recommend this to anyone! 05 March 2014
Excellent Buggy This is the fifth pram I have purchased for my 5 month old daughter, and I love it! I previously had a Phil and Teds Sport but the Dot is so much better, its got the same great features as the older models but it is much improved. the Dot is narrower than the others so fits in the car boot and gets around shops with ease! Would highly recommend the Phil & Teds Dot and John Lewis. 17 August 2012
