Firstly, I never write reviews but felt I needed too. I have two children a one year old and two and a half. I walk about 10km a day in the country park. This buggy is invaluable because it is easy to manouvere on rough terrain. I use the second seat for storage and they are both happy in their seats and fall asleep for their naps. It is tricky getting the baby out the bottom seat but I have had Icandy peach blossom, bugaboo donkey and this is the easiest by far especially to push. The brake is brilliant when they are both running round as it instantly locks so you do not have to worry. The sun mesh the second seat comes with is very fiddly so I purchased a sun hood from Phil and teds and it is brilliant. I also have the panniers which hold a great amount of items. Also I am '5'10' and the handle goes high enough and I do not catch the back of the buggy when running.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Penney76 Not suitable as a double buggy
I spent a long time researching the various double buggy options but I'm really disappointed with the functionality of the double kit. The seat at the back is positioned in such close proximity to the front seat that it's unusable in the upright position. My 13month old daughter is therefore stuck in the reclined position so she can see out but she really dislikes it. The back seat is also not suitable for an older child (3yo) which I've noticed the older models allow. This is really handy when your older child gets tired of scooting for example and the younger child is in the front. The new braking system is neither here nor there. I find it unrealistic to walk along clutching the break in the whole time anyway. Overall, I'm afraid it's very disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KDennis Works well as a double stroller
We are currently using this as a double pushchair for a newborn and an 18 month old toddler, The autostop feature really comes in handy when trying to manage both the pushchair and an active toddler walking alongside, at the park, etc. The one negative is it seems heavy to lift in the car, but that is probably because it folds as a single unit rather than requiring it to be broken down first.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FranP One major flaw!
I have been using my Navigator for my newborn since October and loved it. Forward planning we bought the double kit as well. Obviously I was using it initially with the adapters for the first few months. My now 4 month old has just moved into the main seat and I was totally shocked to find the straps do not lengthen enough to even be loose enough on a tall 4 month old wearing anything other than light clothing. There is absolutely no way my child will be able to be restrained in this pushchair past 6 months let alone 5 years! I found a video online for the old edition which had much more adjustability. A friend who also has this pushchair is having the same issue with her little boy and relies on only using the straps around his legs and the bumper bar. Phil & Teds need to review this design, it is not fit for purpose on this aspect!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jontyp396 Great Buggy Shame that the Brake!!!!
We were bought this buggy as a gift from the in-laws to our new baby. Two months after first use the left hand brake cable snapped in the middle of a busy shopping center, this meant that the automatic braking system kicked in and locked one wheel of our buggy. Once home we phoned JL and they were quick to respond and efficient in the delivery of a new buggy. Two months into the use of the new buggy the brake has just failed again. Great buggy but the new braking system needs reviewing. My advice is to buy the Nav V1 as Phil and Teds buggys are still quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Star82 Great improvements!
This is a huge improvement on the Navigator 1 - the auto stop takes some getting use to but it's a great safety feature and is easy to use. I was worried it might feel stiff but it's fairly effortless in the hand. For me, the best improvement on the original Navigator is the size of the main seat in newborn mode with the double kit on top - my 9 week old was literally being squashed underneath my toddler in the Navigator! The seat is bigger and there is now more leg room between baby and the top seat in double mode - excellent as my average size baby had outgrown the seat on the navigator at 8 weeks! The newborn seat also has higher sides which makes it feel more cocoon like and cozy. It's a dream to push and although heavy to lift in the car, it feels light to push and steer. The improvements on this pushchair make it a great choice for those needing a double pushchair for a toddler and newborn. I'm really pleased with mine!
