Outstanding picture, but not the best Smart TV...
This TV has the best quality picture I've seen in a long time; warm vibrant colours and great contrasts. Watching movies, whether Blu-ray or regular DVDs, is a true pleasure.
The sound is not bad either, although on my set (obtained from John Lewis Milton Keynes) the bass can be a bit boomy at times.
Aside from that, the TV has one flaw, it is not a good Smart TV; the user interface is both sluggy and not not very intuitive. The TV guide only lets you record one programme at a time, and is also very unwieldy to operate.
In conclusion, a great visual experience, but the ancillary features are somewhat of a let-down.

Excellent TV, not so smart
As a TV this is an excellent product - superb picture quality, good sound, very nice appearance and I like the Ambilighting.
However, it's not as smart as I was expecting. It connected very easily to my home WiFi and I was looking forward to easy access to all the usual catch up services. I was, therefore, disappointed to find that the only supplied catch up app was the BBC iPlayer.
I then tried accessing 4OD and the ITVPlayer via the Internet connection only to find that they seem to rely on Flash which is not supported by the TV.
In general, then, a great TV as long as you don't want easy access to catch-up as supplied by devices such as YouView boxes.

Amazing TV absolutely stunning.
I bought this after a lot of research and had actually decided that a panasonic was the way to go. However after seeing this set in the flesh I was completely blown away. All my research went out of the window, simply put it is stunning.
It has a tiny bezel as all sets are going these days, looks really smart. The picture is the best I have ever seen, I still can't understand how the 2d to 3d conversion could possibly work but its amazing. The ambi-light adds a further dimension to the viewing experience and in my opinion the sound quality is superb particularly in the HD mode. The smart features are impressive plus I can control everything from my iPad.

Not as advertised
I tried to purchase this item in store and was told I could only order on line for home delivery. Received today and will be returned tomorrow for a refund. In the picture on the website the screen extends right to the edge of the set. The actual TV has a frame of about 1cm. Prepare to be disappointed.
