Q & As

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best food chopper This food chopper is perfect for smaller quantities such as chopping onions. It would also be very useful for pureeing baby food. Small compact and very easy to use I am delighted with it. 09 February 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super Chopper Excellent product. Have used it for chopping nuts etc for salads and now no more tears when chopping up onions. First time I used it on Onions I was rather heavy handed and ended up with onion purée. Only takes a few quick pulses as instructed. Easy cleaned. I've only put the bowl & cutter into the dish washer after chopping up onions as hand washing is a simple task. 01 December 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible design - Highly unhygienic I bought this product over a year ago, only because it looked more solid than the cheaper Kenwood equivalent. I regret doing so. Food whizzes up into the rotating part, which is difficult enough to clean, but also into the motor housing itself as this is not properly sealed. The food then rots creating a foul smell. This was so bad I resorted to immersing the whole thing in water to try and clean it and allowing it dry out before I used it yet even this did not manage to eradicate the smell. This is extremely badly designed. Do not waste your money on it. It so bad that today I went to buy a Kenwood blender to replace this working equipment which I only used less than 10 times in one year and I am planing to through this biohazard out of my house. 28 November 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Unusable. Returning it under Warranty I have just taken this out of the cupboard to use for the first time in a month. When I put it away I cleaned it scrupulously because food gets into the motor area. When I opened it up I was greeted with the foulest smell ever. It was coming from the motor housing. Several other reviewers have experienced the fact that food gets lodged in there. As for chopping, if it's anything a bit sticky it clings to the side of the bowl and doesn't get pulled in to the blades. Put water in to help and guess where it goes to? Into the motor casing, which results in the smell I now have. 02 September 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by not good for soft foods When pouring a meal, e.g. mince & veg in gravy, into the chopper, you need to cover a part with foil to prevent the food getting into the mechanism. Otherwise very good for small quantities, and very easy to use and clean. 04 August 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simple, effective product Very simple, well designed, reasonably priced processor that is easy to use and clean - highly recommended. 09 June 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Simple gadget with design flaw Whilst this chops soft vegetables and nuts satisfactorily there is a tendency for food to find its way out of the top aperture to get stuck in the socket of the main housing. This area is difficult to clean and if material finds its way into the gap between this and main housing it is nigh on impossible to clean. Water is not meant to be used on this part of the machine so quite what you do here is beyond me. I am about to look for another product after only a months use. 12 December 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Its ok This little noisy chopper chops like a trooper. Very good with onions. The proof is how often we use it and its maybe once a week. Knife and chopping board seems to win the end. Slightly difficult to clean the top part where the blades slots in. I made the mistake to chop to much chicken liver and lots ended up there. The blade and container goes int he dishwasher. 26 November 2014
