Philips myBuddy Table Lamp
very practical, simple and fun
very good product.
fun and simple to use. fun because it shows a moon shape in the evenings and a sunshine during the day. simple because you can plug in and go. you only have to push down on the hat of the lamp for it to work. also has a digital clock on the back of the lamp which is a small rectangle LCD display.
the light isn't too bright so is good when you have to do midnight/early morning feeds.
Very happy with our purchase
comes with free stickers for your child to have fun with later on when they are capable. either to decorate the light itself or for simple entertainment.
the only concern we had was the fact it uses an LCD bulb (meaning the light could last 10minutes or 10years) which u cannot change, however John Lewis do give a 2year guarantee to cover this, which is useful and they accept photos of the proof of purchase so if you don't wish to keep your receipt u can still show them this as evidence of your purchase.

Great safe light that's easy for little hands
I'm pleased with this light. It delivers what I wanted. It's a safe enclosed light, strong enough to read by, that is touch sensitive.
Touch sensitivity is good. My 3 year old can manage it easily but it's not so sensitive it turns itself on in error.
Good warm colour lamp light for reading.
Soft glow night light, just the right low level of brightness.
The moon night light turns into a sun at a chosen time, but no increase in light level, so it doesn't wake the child if they're still asleep.
Sturdy and seems to be fairly hardy. It's survived packing for holiday and a 3 year old repeatedly hitting it on the head to turn the light on.
Low power usage.
Decent length power cord.
Easy to use.
My son thinks it's great and finds it very reassuring at night.
No internal battery, so if you unplug it you have to reset the times.
The night light stays on all day unless you manually turn it off, there's no automatic shutoff once the time for the sun has been reached.
It is a bit plasticky, but it's decent quality plastic and doesn't look cheap.
It is overpriced for what it is but I couldn't find any other kids touch sensitive enclosed light.
Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.
