Polti Vaporetto Go Steam Cleaner

Product information

The Vaporetto Go has eliminated the need to use chemical cleaning to get rid of dirt, dust mites and allergens. You can now sanitise the home without the need of chemical cleaning, using the power of steam alone.

The Vaporetto Go steam cleans and disinfects the whole house. A powerful blast of dry steam dissolves dirt to clean perfectly, whilst saving time and energy. The steam is generated under high pressure giving you the best cleaning results with minimum effort. Steam adjustment and a powerful 3.5 bar pressure ensures you’ll get the job done in no time at all.

The Polti Vaporetto Go also features Polti’s safety cap. This cannot be opened until there is a minimum pressure in the boiler. A shoulder belt allows for easy movement between cleaning rooms. And an accessory compartment stores away all the handy accessories complete with this model.

Q & As

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 18 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just what we wanted Brilliant little machine, we've always had a Polti steam cleaner and this a great improvement on our last steamer. 25 March 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not great After hearing so many great things about steam cleaners I thought it was time to invest in one. But its pretty useless. This machine feels quite cheap and flimsy and agree with last reviewer the steam is pretty intermittent even with a full tank and pilot light off. Now its just taking up space in the cupboard. I think you are better off spending the money on traditional cleaning products or maybe the more expensive machines do work... 23 March 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by disapointing I bought this on 5 Sept to replace my previous Polti which has done 10+ years stirling service. This machine is really not good, it keeps stopping delivering steam, and sometimes comes back but sometimes not...............! Will have to take it back to JL. Am I just unlucky ? (there is still water in it and I do wait for it come up to speed, but even so..) 16 November 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! This is the first steam cleaner I have owned or used, so I have nothing to compare it with. Once I realised that you do need to put a bit of effort into the actual cleaning part (its not like they portray on adverts, were the grime disappears with a quick blast!), I am converted to steam cleaning. I have gleaming surfaces everywhere. Some tips I can pass on, blast the steamer initially over a cloth or sink to get rid of the water before the steam comes in. That well-known Swedish flat-pack shop has 20p towelling hand clothes which when folded in half fit the floorbrush attachment perfectly and don't bother styling your hair before starting. Run time on a full tank is enough for a bathroom and if you need to fill up, turn off the steamer and press the trigger on the handheld bit to release pressure so you can refill quicker. Its also quick to heat up and reach pressure, so no time to have a pre-steam cup of coffee. Finally, be prepared for other members of the household to make fun of your new hobby :) 03 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent value for money Very good on carpets , tile floors and gas hobs! Great for getting into small difficult areas such as you find around the gas burners. Heating the water from cold takes a long time so use hot water . Measure out about 650 ml and carefully fill using the funnel provided. Always put the gun in the sink and squirt out a small amount of water before the steam comes on line. Changing accessories is easy. I found changing from the floor brush to a small accessory to get a concentrate of steam quick and easy. 30 May 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by quality at a good price I use it mainly in the bathroom and the kitchen, cleaning the oven has never been so easy. very good on the tiles. I used it on the wooden floor but it left marks so I prefer to use it on the tiled floors now. I recommend it, it is easy to use and easy to store, I kept the box 22 May 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Powerful little thing This was recommended in store and was less than I was planing to spend. The machine seems well made and there is a good range of tools that are easy to fit. Only downside is there is only one mop cloth provided and the upright mopping extender is a pain to store as there is no where to store it on the machine to keep it stable. 13 May 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good lightweight steamer I purchased this steamer because I liked the shape of the steam head - others like Vax seam really heavy and bulky with a triangular head and only have one function. This steamer can be broken down into various reaches and holds different tools in the base to adapt to cleaning different areas. At first I found it a pain to start it up - boils like a kettle and takes some time (5-10 min) to equalise the pressure to be able to use it and then initially leaves a puddle. However my partner used it and found that if you hold an open end over the sink for the first initial spurts, it's fine - and you should only have to do this once per use. It does take up lots of electricity when plugged in too long, so I'd recommend turning it off between uses. We both found it not as effective on the mildew between the grout tiles in the shower than we'd like but overall, it's a good lightweight option that produces enough steam. What I'd like to see in an improved version is softer gripping handle and a dedicated clothes steaming tool. 10 May 2014
