Polti Vaporetto Go Steam Cleaner
I purchased a Vaporette in March and was very pleased with it . In April it stopped giving any steam out so brought it back to John Lewis's they just replaced it . I think maybe a member of staff should of tested it really not just replaced it . As few weeks later again there was no steam ,called in John Lewis's and told them as we had already replaced it I was told that it was probably the way I was using it but as I had no difficulty in the beginning I don't think it was me . I use another brand of steamer with no bother . We can not return it as we have no transport over to Liverpool .

This is the first steam cleaner I have owned or used, so I have nothing to compare it with. Once I realised that you do need to put a bit of effort into the actual cleaning part (its not like they portray on adverts, were the grime disappears with a quick blast!), I am converted to steam cleaning. I have gleaming surfaces everywhere. Some tips I can pass on, blast the steamer initially over a cloth or sink to get rid of the water before the steam comes in. That well-known Swedish flat-pack shop has 20p towelling hand clothes which when folded in half fit the floorbrush attachment perfectly and don't bother styling your hair before starting. Run time on a full tank is enough for a bathroom and if you need to fill up, turn off the steamer and press the trigger on the handheld bit to release pressure so you can refill quicker. Its also quick to heat up and reach pressure, so no time to have a pre-steam cup of coffee. Finally, be prepared for other members of the household to make fun of your new hobby :)

Excellent value for money
Very good on carpets , tile floors and gas hobs! Great for getting into small difficult areas such as you find around the gas burners. Heating the water from cold takes a long time so use hot water . Measure out about 650 ml and carefully fill using the funnel provided. Always put the gun in the sink and squirt out a small amount of water before the steam comes on line. Changing accessories is easy. I found changing from the floor brush to a small accessory to get a concentrate of steam quick and easy.

quality at a good price
I use it mainly in the bathroom and the kitchen, cleaning the oven has never been so easy. very good on the tiles. I used it on the wooden floor but it left marks so I prefer to use it on the tiled floors now. I recommend it, it is easy to use and easy to store, I kept the box

Powerful little thing
This was recommended in store and was less than I was planing to spend. The machine seems well made and there is a good range of tools that are easy to fit. Only downside is there is only one mop cloth provided and the upright mopping extender is a pain to store as there is no where to store it on the machine to keep it stable.

Good lightweight steamer
I purchased this steamer because I liked the shape of the steam head - others like Vax seam really heavy and bulky with a triangular head and only have one function. This steamer can be broken down into various reaches and holds different tools in the base to adapt to cleaning different areas. At first I found it a pain to start it up - boils like a kettle and takes some time (5-10 min) to equalise the pressure to be able to use it and then initially leaves a puddle. However my partner used it and found that if you hold an open end over the sink for the first initial spurts, it's fine - and you should only have to do this once per use. It does take up lots of electricity when plugged in too long, so I'd recommend turning it off between uses. We both found it not as effective on the mildew between the grout tiles in the shower than we'd like but overall, it's a good lightweight option that produces enough steam. What I'd like to see in an improved version is softer gripping handle and a dedicated clothes steaming tool.

I had done some research as had heard that steam cleaners are good. I have a one bed flat that does seem to get dusty quite quickly. I had a look at the Polti Vaporetto Go Steam Cleaner as well as many others but decided I did not want to spend too much money but still get a good product so after reading the reviews thought I would get this one. So far it’s a great little cleaner, lots of accessories and the floor mop is useful. Once I had got over the fact that it will not completely clean my flat without a little effort I am finding all sorts of good uses for it and its good that everything is getting a blast of steam and getting rid of any dust mites and the like. You do need be aware that when you use it each time just press the nozzle to get the steam going as it is water that comes out first for a few seconds and then start the steam clean. Be careful when opening the water inlet too; make sure there is no steam build up left. I can see it is going to be of great assistance to me when cleaning my flat.

Excellent Value for an all-rounder
This cleaner is excellent. Very simple to use and contains all the attachments needed to tackle most jobs around the house. Amazing results on my glass oven door, as well as kitchen floor and upholstery. Lightweight and easy to store, it really is worth the money and had more tools when compared to more expensive cleaners. I originally went to buy a steam mop. but when considering that I could clean the floors as well as many other jobs with the Vaporetto, this seemed to be the better value option.
