Q & As

Pony Bamboo Knitting Needle Points, Brass, Assorted Widths 4 5 1 1
Variable quality, but good I bought this product in two different widths. One set was fine, but the tip of one of the needles for the other set split almost immediately making the set as a whole unusable. I was able to replace the faulty set very easily when I next visited John Lewis and the replacement set was fine. More generally, it has been useful being able to change the size of needles on the cable, and also to change the cable length without changing the needles. The attachment to the cable is pretty good, although it snags slightly on lace weight wool (possibly no more than any other circular needle though). On a couple of occasions I found one of the needles had unscrewed itself when I was doing some fiddle work which must have twisted the needles relative to the cable. I have since done a lot of less fiddly knitting with no problems. 27 May 2014
