Editor's Notes

Inspired by the delicate detail of a Chanterelle mushroom, Raymond Blanc has created a range of tableware in collaboration with one of the world’s top ceramic design houses ‘Studio Levien’. The inspiration for the design came from the gardens of Raymond’s Two-Michelin-Star restaurant, Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, where he and the team from Studio Levien spent some time developing the concept for the tableware.

Very happy with this - i've now bought the entire set I was surprised to read the review above saying they don't fit in the dishwasher because they do fit in my standard dishwasher (maybe he/she needs to adjust his rack height). In fact, I have now bought the whole Chanterelle set. After hours of trawling the internet, I chose this Chanterelle crockery because it's refined and practical - stacks neatly and it's not too heavy. Incidentally, the pasta bowls in this range (which are really like plates with lips) are particularly good for dishwashers because they serve as bowls and yet unlike bowls they stand upright in the dishwasher rack so you can fit them all in. 5 stars from me! 18 May 2012

Beautiful plate but too large for bottom rack of our dishwasher We bought one of each size of this range to ensure it fitted in our cupboard. It did fit but the dinner plate was too large for the dishwasher. Such a shame - we will have to return them all.. 05 May 2012
