Part of Royal Selangor's Frost range of glassware this tumbler has a pewter cooling coaster to keep your choice of drink suitably cold. The coaster features the Frost pattern of diagonal and diamond facets that represent fractured ice and will keep your beverage chilled for about 2 hours. Simply chill the coaster in the freezer for 3-4 hours and your drink in the fridge for an hour before use.
If you're a spirit drinker use it without the coaster as the pointy-footed glass can be gently rolled to bring out the aromas of the liquor.
Pewter is almost maintenance-free as it does not react with the air to oxidise or tarnish. It can attract dust and dirt, but all that's required is an occasional wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Over time pewter develops a pleasing and subdued patina unique to the metal which is part of the beauty of investing in this material.
