Product information

The Sage by Heston Blumenthal Kitchen Wizz Pro™ Food Processor exudes elegance, high quality design and innovation.

Smart and compact, this food processor offers a wealth of options from slicing and chopping to kneading and whisking. Thanks to an extra-wide 14cm feed chute, you no longer have to chop fruit and vegetables into small pieces to fit into the chute. This processor cuts longer slices and makes processing faster and easier.

A variable slicing disc has 24 settings so you can customise the thickness of your slices from a paper-thin 0.5mm all the way up to a thick 8.0mm. The Quad Processing Blade has four blades instead of two to cut through tasks quickly in the extra large 2.5L bowl. Or, for more manageable tasks, the mini processing bowl is the perfect size for small quantities. A powerful 2000W direct drive induction motor ensures quick, precise results.

Q & As

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent quality and does as it says. I researched reviews and videos before ordering a new food processor. The product comes with a 2 year (25 year motor) repair or replacement guarantee as standard. The equipment is very well made, solid and sturdy. The motor sounds fabulous. The plastic bowls and lid seem about 4 times as thick as others brands. Even the spatula and cleaning brush are extra special quality. If we were discussing cars it's like comparing a Golf or Mercedes to a Ford (apologies to Ford owners, no offence meant). But you remember that advert ‘it sounds like a Golf?’ - well that’s how it is for the Sage. You are getting what you pay for. There are several discs in a fabulous container (which on my counter is stood on end to save space). The one I have used most so far is the slicing one which has 24 adjustable settings from 0.5cm to 8cm. The feeder chute is 14cm wide and joy of joys I have put a whole potato in and sliced up for round chips which we like. Courgettes have gone in lengthways to slice for grilling (great for BBQ in summer). I have, sliced potatoes, carrots and celery for a casserole and sliced sweet potatoes, potatoes and parsnips very thinly to make home-made vegetable crisps. Tomatoes also sliced evenly. All came out perfect. At the price this machine is I would have been very disappointed if they hadn't. There is a small bowl inside the big bowl which has its own S blade which I used to chop an onion and 4 cloves of garlic. Also brilliant. As I haven’t had the machine a week, I have not yet used the discs for shredding, grating, julienne, chipping, emulsifying, nor the quad chopping disc. I will update this review when I have. Another tip: buy this item whilst the Free Risotto Multi Cooker is on promo. I hope the Wizz Pro lasts as long as my trusty 25 year old Kenwood Chef has which was also rather pricey at the time. 06 December 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Brand over practicality This is an industrial size and sounding food processor. Whilst it's impressive power and instantaneous results are useful it is very big and and very loud. The hook here was a free Sage Rissoto cooker and I feel I was swayed by that and got a pricey, average food processor. 27 October 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good stuff This machine is very effective. Sadly, I have failed to produce mayonnaise. The rather brief handbook does not make it quite clear whether to use the emulsifying disc or the blades; the helpline promised to e-mail their advice but have not done so 21 October 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Brilliant, big, beautiful! If you have a requirement for high-capacity food processing, this is the bees' knees. The four-blade chopper is astonishingly fast - like the manual says, if you don't want your onions pureed only use the pulse button. The variable slicer is an excellent, safe alternative to a mandolin. The smaller bowl is good for chopping smaller amounts but if you want to liquidise really small quantities (200 - 300ml), you're probably better using a stick/hand blender otherwise the speed of the machine causes splashing and your ingredients get spread about without necessarily being well blended. The storage box that keeps all the attachments safe is very well-designed and can be stored horizontally or vertically. I've used it for chopping and slicing vegetables and I also used it for chopping Seville orange outers for marmalade, which worked very well, and I'm very happy with it. My only warning is that it is tall. If your kitchen has cupboards above all of the worksurfaces and you have no separate kitchen table on which to use it, you should perhaps reconsider as it is not recommended that the machine be operated when sited near the edge of the worksurface. It's not the cheapest machine on the market, but I do think that in this instance you get what you pay for. 03 February 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Glad I bought it! I had absolutely no trouble lifting this machine; I will be leaving it out on a work surface however because I want to use it a lot. The instructions are clear, the attachments I like very much and it feels a good solid piece of kitchen equipment. Every new piece of kit takes a period of trial and error and I love this one. 13 December 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Too heavy and bulky I sent this back the day I received it. It won't fit on a work surface with the normal space between that and cupboards above. It was so incredibly heavy that it would be almost impossible for the average woman to move it to clean behind it, so totally impractical. 01 August 2014
