Sage by Heston Blumenthal the Nutri Juicer Plus, Silver
Well worth the price
This is an extremely well made piece of equipment.
If you like quality products this is the one to have.
The motor is powerful but has a quiet sturdy hum.
I juiced a pineapple with the skin on perfectly.
Hint on oranges, peel them first including the pith otherwise it has a bitter taste.
Having tried another juicer they are generally quite flimsy in comparison. Paying the extra pays off!

Great machine, great juice
Firstly let me say I purchased this after buying and quickly returning the Magimix Le Duo Plus XL Juice Extractor, so this review is based on a direct comparison over the space of seven days.
- The machine is well built, seems a slightly more solid construction than the Magimix.
- Fruit and veg is blitzed in milli seconds. The blades spin so fast that the fruit is obliterated instantly upon dropping down the shoot. The Magimix required you to push the fruit a little harder to grind it down.
- Pulp is dry-ish, about 95% dry, better than the Magimix, about 80% dry
- Pulp is very fine, has been extremely well broken down. The Magimix left clumps of pulp and generally not as fine.
- Large juice jug (with lid) and large pulp bin. I imagine it would take 15 apples to fill the juice jug.
- Juice is very smooth, no pulp, no bits. The Magimix would leave fine bits in the juice.
- Complicated! There are five speed settings for different fruits, and an extra blade disc for making puree's. The Magimix had one speed and used one blade for both juices and puree's.
- Quite loud. Definitely not as loud as a blender, but louder than the Magimix which was slightly disappointing.
- The motor/blades keep spinning for five seconds after you switch the machine off, slightly annoying.
Overall I'm very happy with the machine. It out-performs the Magimix in the key areas of performance. It has its negatives but I still believe it's an excellent machine that I would recommend to anyone.

Love this juicer! Easy to use every day!
I've never had a juicer before and so have nothing to compare it with. I use this at least once a day and sometimes several times. It's easy to use, it takes whole fruit in the wide chute and is quick and easy to clean. it comes with a large jug for the juice to go into which is handy. I add fruit to be blended into a smoothie into the jug and purchased a hand blender to go with it and this works great. The included Frooji piece which is meant to do smoothies is a waste of money and you just end up with slush all round the appliance. I would opt for the regular nutri juicer and buy the hand blender. If it weren't for this I would readily have given 5 stars and the main juicer is great, and is quick and easy to use.

does what it says!
bought this juicer recently and up till now does what it says.....juiced a whole orange with skin on .....wow !!! I could find no other reviews that said I could do this....so a bit dubious at first. This does make orange juice a bit more bitter.....but saves lots of hassle. Very strong design.....put plastic food bag into container like advised and that worked really well......mess / filter harder to clean.....but ho hum....with a bit of effort comes up like new. Would recommend that you plan to juice a fair amount and that cuts down on washing.....but who cares about washing...think of all the benefits from juicing. Researched this product for some time before I bought it and have no regrets. Only gave it 4 stars as only had it for couple of weeks and it has leaked from lid couple of times.....if this persists...will contact JL for replacement.....willing to keep persevering to see if it is something I am doing wrong. Overall....great product apart from leaky lid.

Great at first
I bought this juicer after reading great reviews. I wanted a juicer that had no problem juicing any veg - hard or leafy. To start with it was great. The pulp collects in its own tube and it helps to line this with a carrier bag to speed up cleaning. However, I have used this juicer nearly every day for 4 months to make 1-2 litres of juice. I've started to noticed that the juice is less than it was for the same ingredients and the pulp is soaking wet. There's a lot more pulp than there used to be and a lot less juice. Juice collects in the lip of the lid and this leaks down the side of the juicer. I'm taking it back when I am next at the store.

A great juicer
Really happy with this product. No fuss, powerful, easy to use and wash - for these reasons we have been enjoying using it several times a day. A great product.

Best centrifugal juicer
For a centrifugal juicer this is the best I've seen and used. Several strong points over the competition: 1) the extra large pulp container means you can juice 2 litres of juice before emptying it, fantastic. As it is outside the machine you can also line it with a plastic bag for ease of cleaning. 2) the chute is BIG, with no obstruction, it takes good size apples and oranges (which I juice with the skin on). 3) the knives/shredding disk is so sharp that you hardly have to push at all, just carefully use a 'pump' motion. 4) the cleaning is truly easy. I've compared this to the Philips Avance which I also love, but the pulp is inside on that one and the Magimix Duo did not cut the bill. I do have a Green Star masticating juicer too which is amazing, but it takes a dedicated 30 minutes at least to juice 2 litres and another 15 minutes to clean. I juice a lot of leaves like curly kale and parsley and that works reasonably well in the Sage machine, especially if I roll them up and put an apple on top. It is a fantastic machine that makes morning juice in 10 minutes from start to finish. A delightful machine to use. The only possible bit to be aware of is the size. I does take up a bit more space because of the pulp container,

Great item - and mine juices leaves fine
I wanted something that juices pretty much anything, and this fits the bill. Anything that it cant juice (bananas, avocados...), u use the froojie disk on, and blend. I've juiced pretty much everything without issue, (for leaves compress between larger items and they juice fine). Note - not all items will leave you with dry pith. Tomatoes, pineapple, & grapes will retain more moisture in the pith due to their consistency. Don't buy a centrifugal juicer that disperses the pith immediately if you want dry pith for these. You do get a good amount of juice from each though. Everything else I've juiced, the pith is as dry as can be expected, and I've juiced pretty much everything, and anything.
One of my concerns with buying this was how easy it is to clean, but cleaning is fast and easy. It takes between 2-5mins depending on what you have been juicing.
The item looks the part and is really well made. I was amazed at the build quality when I unpacked it. I was reluctant to buy this after trying a Phillips but i'm really glad I did. It gets 10/10 from me.
