'The Alpinist' model by Seiko was first launched in 2008 exclusively for the Japanese market. Due to popular demand, it is now launched globally with an upgraded technical specification from the original. The 2020 version has a much-improved calibre movement that extends the power reserve and a sapphire glass upgrade.
