Séraphine Dahlia Dress, Black/oyster
Why is maternity wear to difficult.....
So I ordered this dress in my usual size which Seraphine state is the correct way to order, but the dress was absolutely huge everywhere.
The dress hung from my shoulders and was completely shapeless, gaping underneath the arms showing my underwear, and wasn't fitted at all down the hips/legs.
I very much doubt even the size 8 would fit, and I'm usually a suze 10/12.
Such a shame as this dress would be appropriate for both work and occasions.

I bought this dress online for a Christmas party. I was relieved that although only one size was in stock, according to the sizing guard this dress was going to be perfect, if maybe a little tight!
I was extremely disappointed, however, when the first thing I noticed was a stitching fault under the bust line. I decided that if it looked really good this was something I could stitch myself. Unfortunately, it was also far too large for me. You may need to order a smaller size or try before you buy with this dress!
If there had been no stitching or sizing issues this dress would have been perfect for an evening out.

Fab party dress
I have bought this dress as quite unfortunately I have 4 weddings and 1 formal dinner to attend between 29 weeks and 37 weeks of pregnancy. What could have been a disaster is now not!
I am now a decent size 12 at 27 weeks and this dress has just arrived in a size 14.
The material is extremely soft and the dress is slightly large on, however it does not look large to the eye. The room for growth is generous aided by the fabric type, it fits beautifully in all the right places and finishes just below the knee ( I am 5 ft 6 ) I will definitely be in this still at 37 weeks..
The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is that the photo depicts the top colour as a slight off white, it is advertised as oyster in colour. In actual fact the colour is close to fawn, a dark oyster, so much darker than the picture. This does not ruin the dress in any way though its just something to be aware of.
I intend to bling the dress up too, with a sparkly belt for just above the bump.
I am now very excited about going out and looking glam instead of going out and looking frumpy!!!
Ps the plunge neck is spot on, nothing mumsy or tarty but a good cleavage show off, which lets face it is one of the few things worth showing off.
