This dishwasher is engineered with a servoLock door, which is spring-loaded to close firmly and with minimal effort on your part. A child safety lock is also fitted to protect from scalding. An internal blue ‘emotion’ light along with an amber LCD display puts the finishing touches on this thoughtfully designed machine.

Expensive, but brilliant. We've been using this dishwasher for just over a year now and it's been a thoroughly pleasant experience. There's a good variety of settings, including options such as 'intensive zone' for particularly nasty pans in the bottom drawer, but to be honest we very rarely need to use any setting other than 'eco 50' which cleans everything consistently beautifully. The one option I do regularly use is 'shine & dry' which does just that, so you open the door to perfectly clean, dry and shiny wares.Build quality is excellent, with Made in Germany reassuringly written inside the door and a 5 year guarantee for peace of mind, while running costs are ridiculously low, both in water and electricity. Finally, noise wise, it's all good too; you can converse within a few feet of it and barely know it's on. In summary it's one of those rare modern purchases with nothing to criticise; it just does what it says on the tin. 10 February 2013
