Product information

The Sleep Angel is the first and only pillow that is impermeable to viruses, bacteria, the common flu bug, bed bugs and dust mites. Only air can enter and leave, making it super hygienic and incredibly comfortable. Clinical tests prove that it improves overall sleep quality.

The innovation begins with 2 unique, built-in breathable filters: one on each side to allow only air particles to enter the pillow core, which is filled with wonderfully soft, premium microfibre. This is exclusive to John Lewis and equals supreme balance and comfort, while shielding you from the spread of household germs and reducing the airborne irritants that can cause allergies, asthma and sinus problems.

The BioShield fabric case is wipe clean and has been welded together so that nothing can enter the pillow during its lifetime.

The pillow’s creator, Gabriel Scientific, won the Irish Innovation Award 2012 for the invention, which was originally designed for hospital patients to reduce the risk of patients contracting infections such as MRSA during treatment. Approved as a medical device, the pillow is now used by many hospitals in the UK.

not very good was good for about a month and then went flat and uncomfortable. would not recommend because i now have to buy a new pillow. 20 November 2012
Great Product Bought these and they replaced Tempur ones .Very comfortable no sneezing since using them by either of us .Worth the price Definatley would recomend 17 November 2012
less than expected Purchased this pillow based on reviews from other people and having used it for little over a month there is little or no support, the filling has clumped together and i find myself waking up in the night to try and get a better position. If you want support don't buy this. 17 September 2012
SleepAngel Microfibre pillow Bought two of these after seeing them advertised on thr John Lewis website. Took a couple of days to get used to as they are quite firm but very slowly mould to your head shape after an hour or so. Must say I'm having the best nights sleep I've had for years and the description of them is so accurate. Am tepmted to look at other products in the range, A bit pricey but well worth it !!! 16 June 2012

SleepAngel pillow I got this pillow because I recently started to get stuffed up and runny eyed for no reason a few minutes after going to bed. I am delighted with it. I have no reaction now and its a bouncy kind of pillow, its supportive but its comfy. 20 April 2012
Brilliant idea! I bought this for my other half who has trouble sleeping sometimes with hayfever/asthma and we were suprised at how comfortable it was to sleep compared to other allergy pillows. So far so good - it's a great buy as you don't need to keep washing it to maintain the protection - thanks John Lewis! 20 March 2012
