In a previous life Simon followed a financial career path, working for Price Waterhouse and Virgin (including 3 years in New York). He was group financial director of a recruitment business before joining johnlewis.com as Head of Finance in 2008. Then, in 2009, he got the chance to do something completely different in a commercial, entrepreneurial role heading up the Corporate Sales team.

He's a Spurs fan and season ticket holder, and also loves music and travelling. Spain's a current favourite as he's learning to speak Spanish.

Development Manager

Andrew joined John Lewis in 1978 (yes, he really is that old) during which time he's worked as a selling manager in Sheffield, Norwich, High Wycombe and Solihull. He helped set up and establish the Corporate Sales team in 2003, and as Development Manager is responsible for directing the team in growing and diversifying the business.

When he's not at work, Andrew can occasionally be found on the golf course or planning his next holiday, though since the arrival of his daughter in 2008 he will admit to somewhat changed priorities. What hasn't changed is his love of music and technology, and his passion for all that John Lewis stands for.

Operations Manager

Charlene worked for the then Abbey National and Marks & Spencer before going to John Lewis Oxford Street in 1999 to work in Customer Accounts & Export . She joined SFB in 2003 as admin co-ordinator but now manages the Sales and Admin team, working with lots of different business with different purchasing needs and her job involves working with all kinds of products from the John Lewis range.

Life outside work revolves around her husband, family and friends, and she likes to travel and dine out.

MJ's career started at John Lewis Milton Keynes in 1994. After managing in various selling departments including home technology, he joined the SFB team in 2005 as Account Manager for corporate gifts, where he was responsible for hampers, flowers and wine.

In 2008 he was made National Account Manager, responsible for growing our corporate gift voucher trade. Currently, MJ's working on developing the merchandise element of our corporate offer portfolio, and driving new business. MJ's married with 2 children and enjoys spending time with his family.

Tim first joined John Lewis Norwich in 1996 as an A-Level management trainee. After a number of years working in various departments, a change of direction took him to join the management team at the brand new Waitrose flagship store in Canary Wharf. In 2008 Tim moved across to SFB to take up his current position of Account Manager.

Within this role he enjoys meeting new people, building relationships with clients and making sure they receive great customer service. Outside work Tim's a dedicated Norwich City football fan and he's also an avid follower of the England cricket team, enjoying a recent trip to Australia to watch them retain the Ashes.

New Business Executive

Greg's worked for John Lewis since 1994 and is one of the longest-serving members of SFB. He's worked in a number of roles, originally involved in helping to grow the corporate business for Waitrose Wine. Next he moved over to concentrate on the Christmas Hamper and Wine offer, and then took up his current role in March 2011.

He's responsible for growing the merchandise element of the SFB offer into new areas, whilst looking after the existing client base. Outside the office Greg's a dedicated husband and daddy to 2 daughters. He loves good food, good wine (from Waitrose of course), the cinema and the occasional round of golf.

Joanna joined John Lewis in 2007 and worked in buying before moving to SFB in 2009. Her current role as Senior Admin Coordinator includes overseeing the orders placed within the team to ensure that our customers receive an excellent service from order to despatch. She loves the fast pace and variety of the job. Outside work her passions include shopping, cooking and planning exotic holidays.

Emma has been with the SFB team since 2011, originally starting as a temp in February. Her previous roles within buying have given her a passion for products and the desire to be ahead of current trends. She enjoys being part of the fast-paced environment within Solutions For Business, as every day brings new challenges to solve while working to give corporate customers the best John Lewis customer service.

Emma's other interests include visiting exhibitions and vintage markets, and spending time with friends and family.

Christopher joined the SFB team in 2012 having not long graduated from University where he studied Art and Design. His previous work had always focused on working with customers. He enjoys the fast pace and challenge of working with John Lewis and the corporate team, as well as the opportunity to broaden his commercial awareness.

Outside work his pursuits are keeping fit and visiting London's museums, especially the V&A, but on Sunday afternoons in particular he enjoys gathering family and friends at his place for a big lunch.

Ben has moved into the SFB team in 2012 from Waitrose, where he was a Customer Support supervisor and an administrator for online deliveries. He was recently given the 'Best Customer Service' award by his branch colleagues. His move to John Lewis head office offers him new challenges and the chance to develop his customer service skills in a corporate sales environment. He enjoys problem-solving and building strong effective relationships with both customers and colleagues.

He has a passion for football and is a strong Crystal Palace supporter. In his spare time, he's also occasionally starred in the Waitrose television adverts, most recently working with Heston in the Jubilee weekend special.

Suzanne joined in 2012. Originally studying Fine Art and Art History at Goldsmiths College, Suzanne worked in a number of commercial art galleries before moving into luxury retail. She spent 2 years within the Personal Shopping department at Selfridges and thrived on the fast-paced environment which demanded a high level of customer service. Suzanne enjoyed building relationships with key clients and has brought these skills to John Lewis.

As our token Scouser, Suzanne enjoys frequent weekends away to Liverpool, but also likes spending time with her husband exploring London.

Evelyn joined John Lewis in 1980, starting in the then John Barnes department store in Finchley Road (now a Waitrose). She transferred to Oxford Street and worked in various departments as a section manager, including Floor Coverings and Customer Services. She then moved to work in Personnel within Oxford Street and Victoria head office, and joined the SFB team in July 2012. Evelyn's enjoying being back in customer service and the fast pace involved in helping our corporate customers.

In her spare time she enjoys meeting up with friends and family, and tries to stay healthy by long walks. She also loves shopping - especially for shoes!
