Sonos PLAY:3 is the versatile, all-in-one player with big sound in a compact size. With three integrated speakers and three digital amps, PLAY:3 can stream all music from all around the world wirelessly in any room for wall-to-wall sound. You can even control your Sonos from your Android, iPhone or iPad device with a simple App download.

Set up is incredibly easy - simply plug it in. No technical or wiring expertise is required. There are no speakers or audio equipment to connect. All you need is a high-speed Internet connection and a router to get started. One Sonos player in your system must be connected to your router via Ethernet and then the rest of your Sonos players (if you have more than one) will work wirelessly.

The PLAY:3 is so compact and versatile that you’ll be able to put it anywhere – be it horizontally or vertically. The internal sensor will modify the speaker’s output to ensure clean, balanced, room-filling sound.

Surpassed my expectations Bought my Sonos system having done lots of research and I have to say its surpassed my expectations. Setup very simple Sound quality is great Looks stylish Pc and phone apps work really well and are easy to use 09 February 2013

Big disappointment I thought that I had finally cracked it - streaming different/same tunes throughout the house and was set to buy several of these. Absolutely hopeless - keeps dropping out and saying that I have no speakers synced to my Sonos app. After setting up several playlists the software is malfunctioning and I can only receive internet radio. Admittedly the radio sounds wonderful. I've no hope of teaching my husband how to work the system even if it did work as he is hopelessly un-techie. Will be returning it. 08 August 2012

Fit for purpose I purchased this to extend my existing Sonos system up into the master bedroom. Simple to set up, looks good and sounds great. The Sonos system has exceeded my expectations since installing it many years ago and this is a perfect addition. 19 July 2012

Sonos Play 3 - Best piece of kit I have purchased I wanted an easy way to listen to my music anywhere in the house. The Sonos is the answer as I can listen not only to my entire music library that is stored on my computer, but thousands of radio stations from across the globe. And all controlled from my iPad or iPhone. The sound quality is excellent, and the setup took 10 minutes, so really quick to get up and running. I would recommend the Play 3 if you have normal sized rooms and only go for the Play 5 if you have very large rooms or want to use it outside. One piece of advice is to purchase the bridge as well, as this makes life much easier 08 June 2012

A1 Product .... I took the jump into Sonos rather than the Airplay route. I now have 2 x Play:3 speakers and 1 x Play:5. Easy to setup, High Quality Audio and very easy to use via iPad,Iphone or iPod app's ..... One of the cool things for me is being able to isolate what you play to an individual room .... play one thing in one room and something different in another or group all speakers together. I have added an Apple Airport Express to my setup which allows me to push Airplay compatible apps into Sonos First Class products !! Expensive but good quality hardware and software make it worth the spend. 24 February 2012

Excellent Easy to setup, excellent sound quality, combine one or more of these with an iphone and spotify and you have the perfect setup for online streaming. If you want to use your local music collection then it will play anything in your itunes library as long as the PC is turned on. One warning, you can't stream direct from itunes on the iphone unless you add Airport Express. 08 February 2012
