Sportline Solo 915 Women's Any Touch Calorie Heart Rate Watch
it doesn't detect my pulse
Disappointed in this product. It sometimes detects my pulse, sometimes not. It's a bit fiddly to take the puse reading, and even when it works the display is not that clear. I've since bought a heart rate monitor with a chest strap which is much better.

Not What I had hoped for
My brother bought this watch for my birthday as previously I had a Polar with chest strap. However, I really wanted a watch that shows your heart rate whilst working out. I also found that despite pressing the metal as instructed my heart rate didn't always appear and sometimes took too long to show. I still use it when power walking but am about to buy another with chest strap for my gym workouts.

Not what was required
I chose this for my daughter's Christmas present as reading the reviews it seemed to me to have the advantage of not having a chest strap. However she tried it and it was not what she wanted - you have to press a button to get a reading, which means you have to interrupt your activity to do it. And she has no objection to a chest strap. So we exchanged it (for a more expensive model!)
Also, the first one would not switch on so we had to send it back - John Lewis sent the replacement immediately, before they got the dud one back.

Great to have heart rate monitor without the chest strap
You have to press the metal parts of the watch to get your heart rate, so both arms are briefly not in motion when you are running but in my opinion this slight inconvenience is outweighed by the fact that you dont need one of those wretched straps. Recommended
