Start-rite Children's Samba School Shoes, Black
Sensible, practical, girls school shoes
These are good quality sensible girls school shoes. They may not have bells and whistles and flashing lights, they don't have removable bows or any of that nonsense. But they are (apparently) comfortable, reasonably weather proof, and if kept polished smart looking shoes that will actually last a school year (providing their feet don't grow too much) without falling to bits. The width fittings and wide range of sizes make them very good for fitting too.

Call me old fashioned, but my daughter neither looks like a slattern nor looks like a trollop whilst wearing these sensible shoes

Excellent School Shoes
We have had these school schools every year, they are very long lasting and had wearing shoes. My daughter loves them. They are always outgrown before outworn and will normally last a year. They are very comfortable and polish up lovely. Excellent quality and can highly recommend.

the best school shoes
So much better than the other school shoe brands. Why?
Good quality, no silly logos or tacky patterns plus they last and with a bit of polish every now and again they come up like new everytime.
Don't think you could want more fom a school shoe really
But do take into account they size a smidgen bigger than other children's shoes

My daughter has had these shoes for 3 years running as they are the only ones that last. She is heavy on her feet and I've found that the other makes and styles don't make it till Christmas.
I think it's a combination of the Startrite quality and the style which, because it is plain, means that there's no stitching or joins to come undone.
She is now in the biggest size of these at age 11 so I don't know what we're going to do next year! But I highly recommend them.
