British designer and daughter of former Beatle bassist Sir Paul McCartney, Stella McCartney is known for classic tailoring and feminine trimmings.

After studying fashion design at Central St Martins College of Art and Design and stints working at French fashion house Chloe, McCartney launched her own line in 2001 as a joint venture with Gucci.

Self titled, the collections includes women’s ready-to-wear, accessorises, lingerie, eyewear, fragrance and organic skincare. John Lewis stocks her beautiful lingerie collection, as well as fragrances and McCartney’s sports performance collection for Adidas.

The Adidas by Stella McCartney range includes several sports categories including running, gym, yoga, tennis, swimming, golf, winter sports and triathlon.

McCartney is a vegetarian, and therefore chooses not to use any leather or fur in her designs.
