John Lewis Leo LED Clip Light
Good value and versatile
These Leo lamps clip securely to either side of our headboard as reading lights. The flexible neck can be angled to avoid shining light in one's partner's eyes, or to bounce light off the wall for more diffuse effect.
The 15 separate LED bulbs don't give off noticeable heat and the lamp seems energy-efficient (I haven't measured how much current it draws when switched off, but the power supply stays cool). The amount of light produced seems similar to a 25W incandescent bulb, but is less yellow and more like daylight or a "cool white" bulb. Finally, the lamp delivers full brightness as it is switched on, unlike our previous CFL bulbs that needed several minutes to warm up.
I'm about to buy another to clip onto a desk for additional task lighting and as a spare for the bedroom ones.
This product would be even better if the black transformer and cables were supplied in colours to match the aqua or white versions of the light.

Throw a little light on the subject
This unobtrusive light works well and saves space. I use it as a bedside light but clipped on to the headboard. Perfect for reading and for ambient light.

We were looking for a flexible led lamp to use for a range of household tasks and have been very pleased. This is very well made with a strong clip and the flexible tube stays put once you get to the desired position. The light strength is also ideal.

Lasted 2 1/2 years - Not good enough
Stopped working after 2 1/2 years. If the point of buying LED lights is to be environmentally friendly, this did not do the job. All the components are built-in and cannot be replaced so the whole thing has to be thrown away. Looks nice and good while it works but poor quality and not worth the money.

Good looking and versatile...
I am using the teal coloured version of the lamp on my dressing table to provide more light when doing hair and make up. The lamp is bright and very flexible which makes it easy to light specific areas. The clip is very sturdy; I have it clipped onto a picture ledge where I keep toiletries. The only negative (which is repeated in lots of reviews) is that the bulb is not replaceable.

Just The job
This clip light is just the job for my embroidery. It attaches to my frame and gives a bright but gentle light.

Excellent as a desk and task lamp
We have 3 of these in the study for 2 different desk areas and they are outstandingly good.
> Light is bright, even and without glare
> The gooseneck on them holds whatever shape you twist them in and stays rock-solid still
> The clip has a strong spring in it and stays put - the widest it could clip onto would be about 30mm-ish
> The lead is a decent length, with an on-off switch and has a plug-in split halfway down it which makes it easier to thread through furniture
Just about to buy a fourth for another room. Yes, the LEDs will run out eventually but it's not happened so far in 3 years of ownership and constant use...

Perfect light clips on the dressing table and gives excellent bright light out. Looks good too.
