John Lewis Gusseted Vacuum Storage Bag, Pack of 2
Never had a problem
I have had these bags for at least a year I think. I use them to store excess bedding in the main and over a period of 6 months have never had air seepage.
I use them to transport bedding when we visit family with cats as I am allergic and the bags have not punctured.
My main difficulty is breaking the seal to open them.
They won't work if they are overfilled and you can't get both lines locked. The only way to lock the seal is with the provided tool.

The bags are simply not robust enough. They seem to work like magic at first, shrinking the duvets and pillows down to a hard, wrinkled package when attached to your vacuum cleaner. However, they all seem to re-inflate after a few days. The deals are simply not strong enough. The product doesn't deliver. I bought the large bags to store duvets and smaller ones for baby clothes a few months later, thinking maybe I had bought a faulty product last time. Not great

I'm a huge JL fan and am rarely disappointed with any purchase, but these bags simply didn't work so have now returned them. Any alternative suggestions?

Waste of Money
I bought 6 of these(3 packs). None of them worked. It is waste of money. I would not recomend to buy at all abviously

Great for storage
Huge amount of storage capacity - great for putting away winter / summer clothes, or the spare duvet when not in use. We've bought cheaper bags online before, which have broken within days (the seals break so air gets in), so I'd much rather spend the little bit extra and know the bags will work as they should.

not worth it
I bought these to help reduced the amount of room taken up by surplus bedding. Unfortunately the bags simply re-inflate after a day or so therefore defeating the object. These are really massive too,so even when compressed a king duvet is still rather large. These also have no structure/shape so you end up with a rather large, crinkle square - I imagine if then slipped under a bed this would be great, but for in a wardrob etc this simply isn't sufficient.

Brilliantly useful product - just put in my spare duvets & sheets and whooshed out the air with my vacuum cleaner. (not sure if it is good for duvets as it might crush the feathers, but such a relief to get them tidied up!). The bags are weirdly solid when flattened so you can't really fold them, but the stack neatly in our under bed drawers. Only drawback - they seal like a zip lock bag which is a bit fiddly, you need to use the plastic closer or strong fingers.
